I sat in my room late at night as my mom called me for dinner. It was late but i figured it just got done. As i walked into the kitchen i spotted her holding a large pot that was engulfed in flames. I stopped in the door way and watched as she took the pot and placed it on the stove. The pot slid off the surface,landing on my mother and instantly caught her on fire. Stunned, i stay frozen watching the golden flames trail down the floor. Until it reached me. It hadn't occurred to me that i had just watched the flesh burn off of my own mother until i too was burning alive. What was for dinner?
