We saw Mia backing up slowly away from us and we decided to follow her steps until she ran full speed and we lost her.
"Shit now how are we to chase her Alec, dad is still hurt and one of us needs to go after her, we cant loose her it would feel like dying," I whimper as Alec comes closer and pulls my into a hug.
"We wont loose her Jason, we will just have to help dad for the time being then head back to the castle and get some of the trackers to track her," Alec says as he pulls back from the hug and heads back to the clearing to talk to Dan and dad about sending out a search party to find our mate.
***Back At The Castle***
"Alright your highness your highness we can have six teams of guards rotate onto a search time schedule to find your sons missing mate," one of our top warriors works out with my father as me and my brother sit in the meeting room.
"That sounds good, keep all the other guards posted." father tells the warrior as the warrior nods and leaves the room.
"Dad why do you think that Mia feels this way about us, I mean yeah sure we may not have waited for her but we dont want anyone but her," I say as my brother nods besides me and dad sighs and pinches the bridge of his nose as mother walks in and over to dad and kisses his forehead. Dad smiles and pulls her onto his lap as she giggles as we gag. Mom looks over at us with a glare.
"Oh hush you too your mate will be the same way with you," Mother says as Alec whimpers and i pull him into a hug and glare at her.
"She would if she wasnt FUCKING RUNNING FROM US," I say in a raised voice causing mom to stare at me in shock and dad to growl in a warning.
"Dont take this out on your mother it isnt her fault Jason," Dad says as mom looks between dad and us.
"What happened that i dont know about," My mother says softly.
"Do you remember the woman Dan fell in love with?" my father asks our mother. Mom nods. "Her name was Emma or something right." Dad shrugs. "Honestly i dont remember her name to well, anyways they had a daughter who is the boys mate." Father says as my mother squeals and claps her hands and me and my brother whimper causing her to stop instantly and look at us.
"S-she doesnt want us though cause we smelled like Chloe who threw herself at us," we say as mom gives us both a glare.
"As this girl should, you didnt wait for her and gave Chloe the benefit of the doubt into thinking that she was a possible mate for you too, I dont know how cause she spreads her legs to all the guards int he kingdom and if her mother wasnt so kind and wasnt my friend i would say so to her," Mother says as she scolds us. We sit further back into our chairs and hang our heads with a whimper.
"We know, we know, we screwed up but mom we are already starting to fall for Mia and we just met her, our wolves crave her as do we," I say as i see my brother nod in agreement.
"Look boys i know you think she doesnt want you but if i have heard correctly from the chatter around me, her mother just died and she has a lot to think about correct," My mother says as we nod.
"And she doesnt really know everything about mates," My father adds. My mom looks at him shocked.
"Okay so add that to the list, she needs her space and she is probably confused, so why dont you boys get some sleep and just see what our warriors and guards can do to find her," Mother says as she gets off dads lap and comes over to us and gives Alec and me a kiss on the forehead before we get up and head to our room. Alec stays to talk to mom and dad a little as i head out into the hall. I shut the doors to the meeting room and head to my room when i am knocked over. I growl at the person who did it to see Mia cover in blood.
"Mia what the hell we have guards looking all over for you and who's damned blood is this, it better not be yours," I growl at her as she shy's back a bit away from me.
"I....I...uh well you see i was running away from the guards after i had come back from fighting rogues and having their blood on me they thought i was a rogue too and attacked me so i ran this way and i ran into you and here we are." she says as i glare at her.
"Why in the HELL were you fighting rogues and what did you say about the guards attacking you," I growl out as she sighs and stands up.
"Look what i do is none of your business alright high and mighty prince, just remember that i am my own person...i only came here for....i only came here for....well i dont know why the hell i came back here, but i am here and i am gonna make your life a living hell if you dont leave me the fuck alone," she hisses as she begins to head off from just the way i came.
"Uh Mia," I say as she continues to walk away.
"Didnt i tell you to leave me the hell alone i am my own..." before she can finish her sentence she walks right into my brothers chest. He grabs her right before she falls and she growls loudly.
"Whoa there calm down i was just trying to keep you from falling on your ass after you walked into me mate," my brother says as he tries to pull her closer but she gets out of his hold effortlessly.
"I didnt ask for your help nor do i need it....Look i am only here to get my goddamn weapons that my father had picked up....i know he had them picked up cause i heard him talking to a guard," she says as she starts to sniff around. Me and my brother look at each other and shrug before i get up and walk over to them.
"Are you trying to sniff your way to the weapons room or are you looking for food princess," i ask as i lean against the wall. She turns back and glares at me before turning back around and continues to sniff.
"That is none of your damn bus..." before she finishes her sentence she freezes and falls to the floor. Me and my brother waste no time running to her. As i pull her to me i smell blood and look down to see the whole right side of her shirt soaked in it. My brother yells for the pack doctor as i keep my eyes on Mia.
"STAY WITH ME MIA, YOU CANT LEAVE US," i yell trying to get her to stay awake. But her eyes slowly close.
The doctor arrives and quickly has us take her to the nurses station. We hear mom and dad come out of the meeting room and follow us.
We get to the doctors quarters and she tells me to put Mia. I put Mia on the bed and the doctor pushes me back and begins to rip Mia's shirt. I growl and the doctor freezes.
"Prince Jason i have to get her shirt off to look at the damage," the doctor says but i growl louder. The doctor begins shaking. Alec growls at me and tells the doctor to continue as dad comes into the room and drags me and Alec out of the room to let the doctor work.
We wait for hours to know the verdict of our mate. Me and Alec are a wreck we growl at everyone that comes near us and we even growled our mother which caused our dad to growl back. We whine as we hear the door to the doctors office open. Me and Alec both get up quickly and rush to the doctor.
"So how is she? Can we see her? Will she live?," Alec asks as the doctor looks frightened causing dad to come over and push us back.
"Please tell us how she is doing Doctor Murray." My father says causing the doctor to relax slightly.
"She will live, though we had to give her a dose of our knock out drug to keep her asleep so that we could fix the damage, she had two broken ribs and one of them seemed to have punctured one of her lungs but i dont know how she didnt have trouble breathing, anyways we fixed the lung and we have taped the ribs and sewn up the gash on her side as well as the surgical incision, She should be healed by next week, but the bad news is the drug wore off an hour ago and she still isnt waking up, she is stable though and she is healing quickly," The doctor says our father nods.
"Thank you Murray, you can rest until we call you," My father says as Murray bows and scurries off as me and my brother go into the room to see our mate pale and laying on a hospital bed looking pale and hooked up to an I.V. and an Oxygen device. I go over and kiss her on the forehead before sitting besides her as Alec stands on the other side and whimpers.
"Please Mia wake up cupcake,"I say as i lay my head besides her arm and fall asleep.
