Ella waits until they're in the underground part to respond to Ty, she hugs him tightly, "I'm okay." Her voice is soft and small, "Ty, we really should check the wounds on your back. I'm worried. He only sliced at you and it doesn't seem deep, but we should make sure it doesn't get infected." She pressed her face against the part of his back that wasn't bloodstained or wounded and closed her eyes softly, taking in the warm heat and comfort, "You could've been killed today." She buried her face against his back.
Ty nodded, reaching behind and taking her hand. "I'll check soon. And no, I wouldn't have died today. No matter what I face, no enemy, no person, no thing will take me from you." He takes their horse to the stable and closes him in. He walks his beloved princess to the house, admiring her long slim legs and her soft steps.
Ella held onto Ty's hand tightly, she kept close, looking up at him occasionally. Her big brown eyes worried and a little angry- but she was softened by what he said. She firmly believed Ty wouldn't ever let anything take him from her- ever. She didn't even want to think about what happened if he ever did.
Ty looked down, lightly sighing at Ella's expression. "Don't worry, I'll be okay." He leaned down and kissed her forehead, squeezing her hand. "I'll dress this and then I think I gotta change, these clothes smell like a crematorium."
Ella smiled wryly, "Maybe I can help you." She tugged at his shirt playfully, but then her smile faded slightly and she turned to her pack, pulling out a long sleeved shirt and some pants, she handed them to him- "I bought them in the last town while you were sleeping." She said quietly. Ella waited until he took them and then walked past her, "They probably have a tub, let's go scrub up." She stopped for a moment, realizing what she said- her face turned bright red, "Like not in the same tub of course."
Ty held the clothes under his arm and chuckled, his face as red as Ella's. "You are so awkward - it's adorable." He kissed her cheek and held her hand walking up the steps. "Also... Thank you." He says quietly. Squeezing her hand, he nodded toward a bedroom door and turned the knob, pulling her in and looking at her. "Um. I never got the chance to do this properly earlier." He placed his palm on her cheek and kissed her.
Ella gave a startled little noise, but she slowly gave into the kiss - her eyes shutting as she pressed closer. She broke it and kissed him again, her chest rising and falling slowly despite her heart slamming against her ribcage. Ella pulled back, biting her bottom lip coyly. "Maybe we should save some water and use the tub together." She said quietly, her beautiful cheeks turning a soft shade of pink.
Ty smiles at her blush, taking Ella's hand again and leading her towards the tub in the other part of the room. He kissed her again, this time biting her lip for her. "You know, I love your ideas." He kisses her again and pulls his own shirt off, then holds his hands to her sides. "And you. I love you Ella." Ty moved his hands softly lower, his gaze not leaving his beloved's beautiful eyes.
Ella slowly takes her shirt off over her head and leads him to the tub. She watches as Ty sinks into the warm water before getting in herself. She leans against him, sitting between his legs and sighs, "My Ty."
Ty wraps his arms around her, pressing his lips to her shoulder. "My Ella." He smiles and sighs, holding her.
Ella leaned into him and let her muscles un-tense. She paused for a moment but then reached over the side of the bathtub, her small, delicate curves still slick with water. She pulled out a bar of soap, "It's charcoal and mint, good for the skin." She said quietly, she wouldn't ever understand how she knew so much about plants. She turned around and gave Ty a small look, asking for his permission, and then began to scrub his chest, and his abdomen and a little lower. She blushed, and moved so she was sitting in his lap, she hugged him against her and scrubbed out the wound on his back, taking out the small bits of dirt and dried blood and then rinsing it with clean, warm water. When she was done she rubbed a little through his hair, and then dropped the bar. She sculpted his hair into a large mow hawk on top of his head with the soap and then pulled back with a small smile, she kissed her finger and tossed them to the air, "Magnifico, mama mia pizzaria, you are now a thing of beauty." She continued to look at him, her large brown doe-eyes watching him carefully.
