I Can Sing

"Alright people it's karaoke night!" Tony yelled grabbing the remote from Clint. "You all know the rules: no lip syncing, no skipping your turn, and no backing out of a song." You all nodded slowly getting up to get drinks and video cameras.

"Who's first?!" Everyone shrunk back and left Bruce standing directly in Tony's line of vision. Tony grinned and clapped his hands together. "Ah, Bruce my fine science bro. What song will you be singing?" Bruce sighed and pushed up his glasses.

"Surprise me." He then walked to the stage and warily grabbed the mic.

"Good job Steve." Bucky said slapping his friend on the back. Steve's entire face was red and he was scowling at the ground.

"I hate this. I can't believe he would pick that song." You rolled your eyes.

"Shut up Steve, Nicotine is a great song. One of my favorites actually." You said crossing your arms. He scoffed and sat down next to Tasha.

"Like the entire chorus is the F word."

"What are you, four? Just say fuck." Clint retorted. Steve looked at him in mock horror.

"Language." Wanda said smirking. Steve through his hands up in the air and left the room.

"That's cheating!" Sam yelled gesturing to Clint.

"I finished the song." He replied coolly.

"You didn't even sing!" Wanda exclaimed.

"I signed." He then snapped his fingers and left the same way Steve did. You just chuckled and shook your head at the sass levels in the room.

"Okay everyone has gone except, Wanda and Y/N." You groaned and looked at Wanda. She shook her head and you nodded.

"No way in hell. You go first." You said gesturing to the awaiting mic. She groaned and took the microphone from Tony.

"Song please."

"Uhhh, Stand By You."

"Rachel Platten?"

"Uh huh."

"Alright that was humiliating Y/N's turn."

"I don't wanna."

"I don't care. I'll just make you if you refuse." She waved her fingers in the air and her eyes turned red.

"Dammit." You groaned and got up taking the mic from her.  "Uhh Mean by Taylor Swift." The intro played and you got ready to sing.

You finished the song, the last notes floating out in the air and hanging there like leaves in the wind. Your teammates stared at you in awe.

"Y/N I didn't know you could sing like that. Why didn't you tell us?" Wanda exclaimed.

"You didn't ask."

"Bitch."

"Dumbass."

Okay so this is kinda short but I owe you guys and actual chapter after those A/N's. I actually really like that song and it describes Steve like actually perfectly. So yeah...
