A Whole New Life Together

It's been two years since our reunion. It was magical...after five thousand years of being apart we were finally together! Since he didn't have anywhere else to stay, and since he was new to the 21st century, I let him stay with me...partly because I wanted him to! Today was a special day! It was Yami & I's anniversary! You know...of being together! I'm going to take him somewhere special!" Where are we going?" Yami asked." Just wait and see!" I say happily." What's the occasion? And why am I blindfolded? Do you care to tell me?" Yami asks again." Haha! Very funny! Common now!" I say."I'm being serious...what's today?" Yami asks." Wait...you seriously forgot?! Please tell me you're joking." I said worried and angry."I'm not joking! I don't know what today is! Can you tell me?"  He asks again." RGH! I can't believe you forgot! If you want to know, find out yourself!" I yell as I stomp away." What's her deal? Maybe if I ask (F/N) I will find out." He says as he picks up his phone."hello?" Says (F/N)." Hi (F/N)! It's me Yami. Can we talk? It's about (Y/N). She's angry at me and I don't know why, all I know is that I forgot something. Can you meet me at (Y/N)'s house?" Yami asked." Sure! If she's that mad at you then it has to be something really important that you forgot! I'll stop by at 2:40 PM. Ok?" (F/N) said."ok see you then!" Yami said as he hung up the phone. It was 2:40 and Yami and (F/N) were talking about Yami and I's fight. "So you see. She had me blindfolded and she was talking me down the stairs. I asked her why she had me blindfolded and what was the occasion...then...well...you know the rest." Yami explained." Well obviously it was really important to her...hmm...oh! Now I know! Yami! How long has it been since you guys were together?" (F/N) asked." 5,000 years. And the two years dating. Why?" He asked." Well it has something to do with you two dating for that long...i'll let you figure it out! Well, see ya!" (F/N) said as she walked out the door."wai-...t. What did she mean?!" Yami yelled as he held his head in thought. Then,as if by magic, today's event came to him." Oh Ra! It's our anniversary! Damn it! I completely forgot! Poor (Y/N)...no wonder she was so mad and upset." He said." I have to find her and apologize! But wait! She's probably too mad...hmm..maybe if I...yeah! That will work!" Yami says as he calls me."hello?..." I say coldly." H-Hi (Y/N)! It's me Yami....umm...can you come back to the house? I wanna tell you something." He said." Well...ok...but don't try to apologize! It won't work!" I say as I hang up the phone. As soon as I get there I sense something funny. As I walk into the house I drop my keys in surprise. Everything looked like the cave Yami and I when bakura attacked! But...why? I walk to my bedroom and see a note. It read," come to the living room. I have a surprise.- Yami." I walk to the living room and stare with big eyes at what was infront of me. It was Yami! Dressed as he was as pharaoh!" Y-Yami?! Why are you dressed like that?" I say." Well...(Y/N)....I just wanted to give you my anniversary surprise!" Yami says as he holds out his hand nervously...I take it. "This...decor...it looks exactly like your cave that the sculptors and I built for you! And you look exactly as you did 5,000 years ago! (Gasp) OMR! Yam-Er-Atem this is awesome! It brings back memories in Egypt!" I say hugging "Atem"." So do you like it?" Yami asks nervously." Do you even have to ask? I LOVE IT!" I say."oh! Before I forget! Here's your present. I spent all my check on this...I hope you like it." I say. He opens the envelope and takes out two passes to Egypt out of the card! The card read," happy anniversary! Thank you for being there for me all those years. If I had the chance. I would relive those years again. I hope you enjoy these passes. We can finally go to Egypt and reminisce on old times. With love. ~(Y/N)." He re-reads the card over and over and smiles." Thank you so much...but do you know what the best gift of all is?" He says. "What?" I say confused." Having you here. It was worth the wait for such a treasure." He says. I start to cry a bit. Turns out this was a great anniversary after all!
