Hi I'm Veronica. I'm 18 years old, I live in Los Angeles, California. I'm not the 'girly girl' type I'm more of a party animal. I love to go clubbing and go to parties, I was just that type of girl. I never wanted to have a boyfriend or get married or have kids, it seemed boring to me. But that all changed when I met him.
I made my way into the club and took a look around. There were people everywhere. The music was blasting, drunk people were dancing, and hot guys asking girls to dance. It was time to get my party animal on. I made my way to the bar and sat down on a bar stool.
"What can I get you?" The bartender asked.
"I'll have a margarita, please." I replied. The bartender have me a small nod and fixed me my margarita. I looked down at my outfit and smiled at my choice of the clothing I was wearing. u was wearing a short, white, sleeveless dress that hugged my curves perfectly. I was also wearing a pair of 5'in pumps along with my sparkly white hand bag. I looked hot. The bartender handed me my margarita and I downed it instantly. I left a 10 dollar bill on the counter and made my way to the dance floor. I danced with about 10 or 13 drunken guys made out with 4 of them. By the end if the night I was tired and ready to go home. I walked out of the club and began to walk home. Damn was it cold, I really wish I would've brought my car, but I didn't want to get another DUI. So I pulled out my phone and began to call my best friend Lola to come and get me.
"Hello?" Lola said sleepily.
"Lola! Hey!" I yelled.
"Veronica, are you drunk again?"
"Hahaha, yes, I'm extremely drunk. Can you come get me before some loser comes out from no where and rapes me?"
She sighed. "yeah, sure, where are you?"
"I'm standing outside the gas station by the gay bar." I laughed.
"Okay stay there I will be there in a few minutes. Try not to do anything stupid before I get there I don't feel like bailing you out of jail again."
"Okay, Lola! I'll see you when you get here!" I said hanging up the phone. I walked over to the park bench that was sitting in front of the gas station. It wasn't to long after that Lola had pulled up. She stopped in front of the bench I was sitting on. I got up and walked over to the passengers side and got in. I put my seat belt on and looked over at Lola, she didn't look happy.
"Lola, are you okay?" I asked. She looked over at me and shook her head. I looked down and played with my fingers. I have never seen her this mad before. She soon began to drive down the road. The while drive was nothing but silence. Damn she was really mad at me. I have never seen her this mad before, it upset me to see her this mad. She pulled I front of my apartment and turned the car off. I was fixing to get out of the car, but then she locked the doors. I sat back in my seat and looked over at Lola.
"Veronica, I can't do this anymore." She said looking down. "I can't keep coming to pick you up every single night because your drunk."
"Lola, I'm sor-" I began to say but she cut me off.
"No you not Ronnie. You say that all the time and that you will stop doing it, but you don't." I looked down and began to cry at what she was saying. It's true I do go out and get drunk every single night. "Ronnie, you need to get help. I've got a friend who moved to here from England, he helped me when I was an alcoholic and I think he could help you." She said.
"Lola, I am perfectly fine! I don't need help!"
