-three years later-

It's been three years since nick saw the shadow girl. Now he was 16 and his brother jack was 19 almost twenty. The shadow girl? Not to be seen, and was forgotten.

"Jack, I'm going on a walk... I'll be back before midnight", nick called, and walked out the door into town. Nick sighed as he looked around at the old buildings that looked like they were going to fall at any moment. In those past three years, their was something called shadows, they were these shadowy things that could look like hummans. Many feared them and some tried to take them down, those few people that tried to take them down, killed them all, and that's why the town looked like this. It was from the battle.

Nick sat down on a branch and looked at the ground. "Why this town, we could have just made peace and none I this would have happend", he mumbled to him self. "Strange, I agree with you... The town could be looking brand new still if they did", a female voice said. Nick jumped and jerks his head tords his left seeing a small girl sitting nexed to him. The girl looked at him with her electric blue eyes and smiled with her blood red lips. "Sorry, didn't mean to scare you", she laughed. "No, it- it's ok", nick replied. The girl was wearing a Lois rang top looking shirt that had a skull face cut in the back, and worn out blue skinny jeans with black convers. "Mk if you say so", she said. "Heh, um.. So what about you agreeing with me?", nick asked looking at the girl curious. "Well, the town could still be looking brand new if they DIDOMT have that battle. People died that night, not just people but OLSO the shadows, just because they look like shadows dosnt mean they don't breath, or have LIFES of their own",the girl explained. "Huh, yeah... Hey, what's your name? Mines nick", he asked. "Names Julie. Nice to meet you nick", Julie said a smile plastered on her face. Something about her seemed familiar to him.

"Hey, Julie? Have you ever felt...Lonely?", nick asked looking at the ground once agin. "Yea...a lot, um anyways I have to go bye nick", Julie said. Nick looked up to say bye to her but she was already gone. "Bye?", nick whisperd confused on how she disappeared so fast. He sighed And started walking home.
