Shelbys pov.
I woke up the next morning happy. I was actually really excited to go to school. I mean I just went on the perfect date with the perfect boy until my mean over- protective brother had to ruin the part I was looking most forward too. Oh well, at least I have something to look forward to today:)
I got out of bed and got dressed into something fancy. I put on a blue floral dress that came up to mid-thigh, with my white vans, and some gold jewelry. I also grabbed my brown over-the-shoulder purse and put my phone and Chapstick in there. I put on some natural makeup and went down the stairs to find my mom cooking eggs.
"Hey mom!" I said walking into the kitchen.
"Hey honey, eat up or you will be late for school" she said handing me a plate of eggs. I ate them quickly and went outside to the car where my brother was sitting. I got in, put my bookbag and purse in the back seat and buckled my seat belt. He started the car and drove to school. We didn't talk the whole ride which wasn't long since it only takes me 5 minutes to get to school. He dropped me off and I caught up with Kris and walked into school. I didn't listen to anything because all I wanted to se was Josh. I was looking forward to that kiss:)
I was walking to my last period with Kris when I turned the corner. I was shocked at what I saw. I froze in my spot and Kris followed my gaze to what I was seeing. I walked straight up to them and pulled them off of each other.
"How could you do this to me?" I yelled in his face.
"Ummmm... Look Shebly, I didn't know we were a thing!" He said back to me with pink lip gloss all over his lips.
"I thought you really liked me Josh. I never knew you would go this low and kiss another girl. I was waiting for that kiss you promised me!" I yelled, tears streaming my eyes.
I didn't wait for his response because I ran out of the door to our tree and soon enough, Josh and Kris were running outside. Kris looked like she was going to punch someone. Josh looked confused.
"Josh, go away! I don't want to even see your face anymore!" I yelled getting attacked my Kris' massive hug.
"But.... Shebly, just listen to me!" Josh says coming closer.
Kris puts her hand out to stop him and says, "Josh, I think she has heard enough of you today. I think you should just go."
"Okay but this isn't over. I'm going to make you listen to me sooner or later!" Josh says walking away. That just made me cry more and I don't even know what for.
Kris tried to comfort me as much as she could. We skipped last period cause I had it with him and I didn't want to see him. We both left and walked home real slow so we wouldn't get in trouble for skipping school. We both had a sleepover that night at my house. We ate tones of ice cream and watched cheesy romance movies. Cliche right?? I was not looking forward to seeing that stupid face again tomorrow. Good thing it's Friday!

Sorry I haven't updated. I went to the beach for a week and honestly forgot I was writing a book.
