Fandom. According to the internet its the state or condition of being a fan of someone or something. Obsessing. Another word people use to call people like me. Family. I'm not talking about blood. I'm talking about the ones who are there. That's what we are. No matter what, we have each others back. There's us, and then, there is her. We call her moonlight. She's gorgeous. She's extremely talented. She loves us. She's the one who keeps some of us smiling. She can make us forget the bad and remember the good. I will always love her no matter what anyone says. No moonlight isn't her real name. Her name is, Ariana Grande."Aaliyah Parker, wake up you have school" My mom opened the door yelling.
"MOM I SET MY ALARM FOR A REASON. I WAS SUPPOSED TO WAKE UP TO BREAK YOUR HEART RIGHT BACK" I screamed.
"Honey, I don't know what that means but it sounds harsh" she closes the door and walks back down stairs.
I shove my face into my pillow. Waiting for break your heart right back to play I turn to my side looking at my wall full of posters of Ariana. I smiled. My phone started buzzing and Ariana's voice flooded the room. After the song was finished I went onto my twitter. First, check if Ariana tweeted.
'Hey babies, I am proud to announce that I am adding a few more dates to the Honeymoon Tour. I will be going to Tampa, Sweden,Paris and Los Angeles. Hope to see my babies soon, Love you!'
I screamed louder than I ever could.
"mom" I ran down stairs only in a t-shirt.
"MOM, GRANDE, ARIANA, HERE, LOS ANGELES, TOUR, HONEY"
"Aaliyah, slow down, you aren't making sense"
"mom Ariana Grande is coming here in exactly one month. Can we please go? Pleaaaassse" I was in tears.
The only people who understand the love I have for Ariana Grande is people like me. We are known as Arianators. If you have been around a long time you were once known as a Tiny Elephant. You might also hear the names honey babies, luvs and moonlights.
"Who is this Ariana Grande person you speak of" my dad said coming into the room.
"Robert" I rolled my eyes at my dad.
"Did she just call you Robert?" My mom asked.
"Mom.... Dad. Do you understand how much this means to me? It's Ariana Grande. The queen of my life"
"And do you know if you don't start getting ready and you miss your bus you will be grounded, then there will definitely be no concert for you missy" my mom snapped. I nodded my head and walked back to my room.
I threw on my Best Mistake crew neck that I got online from Ariana's website. I had on high wasted jean shorts and a crop top under my crew neck. I winged my eyeliner like any arianator and threw my hair half up half down. I know, I know. Shocking. But I truthfully really like this look. I ran down stairs to get on the bus. My best friend Alana was sitting in our usual spot.
"So did you convince them?" Alana asked. She Is also an Arianator, just not as big of a fan as me.
"No. They hate me. Alana why does no one understand how much I love her. I have to go to this concert. I have to meet her"
"Aaliyah it will be okay. Maybe if we save up we can get tickets" Alana sipped her coffee.
"We both know we can't make enough to get front row seats and to meet her. If I don't go I will die. My room is full of posters of Ariana Grande, I have her perfume, her lotion, the hair mist, the bath soap, the coffee body scrub, and let's not forget I have the bear phone case. I have been here since Tiny Elephants. I have watched her grow up from the very first episode of victorious to the very first episode of Sam and Cat. I have every song from Yours Truly, My everything, Christmas kisses and Christmas and chill"
"Okay well you need to chill" Alana said to me. I rolled my eyes. We both got off the bus and went into the school.
My phone buzzed showing I have a Twitter notification. I have 24k followers. Out of the whole 24k Ariana doesn't follow. I have been trying forever, but I can't get her notice.
Ariana Grande: 'I love you guys so much♡'
I replied back to her tweet saying that I loved her more. Of course she doesn't notice. Being an Arianator can be a lot of work. Especially if you have a fan account. And don't get me started with the haters.
"Okay that was the bell, which means phones away" my teacher Mr. Baldwin said.
He's very weird. For starters, he never wears shoes. I don't know why. The top of his head is bald and his hair is on the back of his head. Not trying to sound like an Arianator that refers everything to Ariana Grande, but he reminds me of Sikowitz.
'The tickets are currently on sale. Better hurry up and get them!' I pulled my phone out hiding it in my lap.
'Thanks Alana, I'll check ASAP!!!'
"Ms. Parker. That is now mine. You can come and pick it up when the day is over" I handed my phone to Mr. Baldwin.
"Great"
At the end of the day I got my phone back.
"No, no, no, no, no, no. Alana, they aren't on sale anymore" I cried. We were sitting in my room side by side on my bed.
"Maybe your parents will get you tickets" I looked at her and rolled my eyes.
"Yeah and maybe tomorrow I will see Ariana Grande on the streets and we will become best friends" I said sarcastically.
"Let's face it. I'm not Ariana's best friend, I'm not going to her concert, she will never know my name and I'm just left being a fan girl".
"We still have a month anything can happen. Lets just go to sleep and we keep think tomorrow" I nodded at Alana and closed my eyes.
I know it's just a concert, but I love Ariana. I want to show her I will always be by her side. I want to be able to tell her I love her and she is everything to me. I wish I could have been there for her when grandpa Grande died. I wish I could see her life outside of a phone screen. I wish I could hug her. It's not crazy to dedicate your life to someone. I think it makes me stronger. But there is one thing I know for sure. I will always love Ariana Grande Butera.
