AS LONG AS YOU LOVE ME: CHAPTER SEVEN

Blankly I sipped on my bottle of diet coke. The taste of the coke was horrid but, my throat was dying for some type of liquid to run down my burning throat. Something that wasn't alc. I had no food on my stomach and I was on the verge of vomiting my life up. I was irritated not only because, I was craving alcohol but, because I was starving and I was soaking wet.

And this time, I had no one to blame due to my actions.

After I went onto the stage to give Justin's guitar, a female in which I've never seen before, snatched the case out of my hand and passed it to him. I stomped off the stage, furious. I doubt it was noticeable, however since my face usually holds a blank expression. Her actions made me upset and I don't know why. Anyways, once I stepped off my vision began to blur once again and when that happened, I began to stumble into the direction in which Dwayne's pool was located. From there things went down hill.

Flashback (10 minutes ago)

My petite body crashed onto the body of the five foot mark. Petrified, I hasted upwards, my feet kicking the water dangerously. I knew, I was over exaggerating because I wasn't about to drown. I could swim, but my body didn't register that information until I was at the surface, gasping for air. I brushed my hair back, removing the wet material from my face and took a deep breath.

I was drunk. Really drunk.

My peers didn't really focus on me.

If anyone saw, they clearly didn't care.

Justin didn't focus on me.

Surprisingly, the only person concerned was Ryan. For the first time, Ryan was the one sober. He didn't smell like me or appear to show any of the signs I had grown aware of.

I bit the insides of my cheeks and chuckled slightly, beginning to relax myself. Ryan outstretched his hand and I gladly accepted it and as, I did so he pulled me up. My body slammed right into his causing him to smirk slightly. Awkwardly,  I smiled and pushed passed him, knowing that essentially he didn't want to be near me.

Flashback over

Sighing I sipped on my coke, closing my eyes as I did so. Imagining this gunk was liquor was harder than I thought.

"Vanessa?" A girl called out, smiling cheek to cheek. As I opened my eyes, I removed the tasteless coke from my lips and raised an eyebrow, taking in her flawless features. Her green eyes were lit as I viewed her, taking in her model like features. Her plum lips held a ruby red lipstick bringing out her eyes which happened to look unrealistic. The girl's dirty blonde hair was pulled to into a tight yet, bouncy ponytail, making her round face visible. A blush crept onto her cheeks and my eyes roamed down to her torso, making there way to her feet. I held back a chuckle and smirked, relaxing my eyebrows. I had never seen her before.

"Do I know you?" I asked curiously, licking my lips.

"We have History together." She cooed as she plopped down beside me on the lavish sofa, her cheeks still a plumish pink.

"Mmm.." I hummed, looking around and placing the rim of the diet coke back onto my lips , gulping the rest of it down.

"Why are you wet?" She questioned, her eyebrows furrowed and then a cheesy grin appeared on her face. I removed the bottle from my lips and swallowed harshly.

"Had a little accident." I stated, bluntly gritting my teeth while my cold eyes burning into hers. Her twinkling eyes soon turned dull, they no longer held that baby doll look. She bit her lip and looked down at her short thick fingers, which she was fiddling around with.

"Oh, I see..." She whispered. In response I slowly nodded.

At the moment, I didn't care if I gave the impression that I wasn't interested. I mean I wasn't. I was drunk and miserable so, why should I act bubbly and what not? After a while she got up; the silence probably being too much for her. I watched her walk away, her hips swaying back and forth. I chuckled, slightly and called out "Green eyes," feeling some what sorry. She turned around quickly,  her eyes wide as if she was hoping I'd call out for her.

"Talk to me when I'm not drunk." I slurred, slightly pointing the bottle of Coke in her direction. The girl nodded and smiled slightly before turning on her heels, walking away.
