This world, while it may not seem very unusual a magic presence exists. Upon a child's fourteenth birthday the guardian of magic awards the person with their new magical power. Magical boys and girls, also known as mages. Each female mage has and destined male mage who become their knight as they become a princess. Whether or not the meet their night is all up to chance.
CHAPTER 1: A SCHOOL OF MAGIC
There exist a school to teach new mages how to control their powers. While the entrance exam is rather difficult, 160 students from all four grade levels pass the entrance exams out of a possible 400,000 entries.
Aria: [Running down the stairs] MOM! (She is wearing a black sleeveless gi with a red belt)
Aria's Mother: What is it Aria?
Aria Locheart, 14 years of age, she and her friends have all just received their mage powers. They may not know it but their adventure is about begin. Transformation Phrase: Unleash, Forte (And yes this will play a part)
Aria: [Spinning, to show off her outfit] I got my powers.
Aria's Brother: Oh good, another Locheart that won't make it past their first year. Can you tell your element?
Aria's Mother: Please Zach, don't pick on Aria. Just because you and your brother can't pass the entrance exam doesn't mean she won't.
Aria: Yeah, also I'm obviously a fire elemental.
Zach: [Looking concerned] How did you figure that out?
Aria: [Giggling] Just don't pay attention to the floor of my room.
Zach: If you really want to try to get into Magic School, I'll go with you to sign up for the entrance exam tomorrow.
Aria: Really?
Zach: Yes, really.
The Next Day
At the registry
Worker: So Zach, trying again for year 2?
Zach: [Annoyed] No, Aria's going for her first year.
Worker: [Directed to Aria] (Handing her a form) You do know the entrance exam is a tournament and only the 8 males and 8 females who make it past the preliminaries get in?
Aria: I do now.
Worker: [Smiles] I have hope that you'll make it. Just return the form whenever you finish.
Aria: Why didn't you tell me about the tournament?
Zach: Didn't want to ruin the surprise. Just train hard and you'll make it.
