I went downstairs to find my mom cooked some chicken, rice, green beans, & cornbread oh lord how much I love her. I made a plate and went back up stairs when I get a text from Quise

When I read that text I got butterflies all in my stomach. I mean I liked him and all but is he just playing me like really.

I seen him with another girl arms around her and everything and he hasn't texted me since that day he was at my house and I just don't know what to do right now I said putting my face in my hands. Omg girl you lying.. Cause he really likes you I wanna go beat his ass right now , did he see you see him?she asked. No but idk if I should say something to him or not i said. Give me your phone she said with her hand out. I did not knowing what she was going to do. She gave it back and I looked at it and the text read
You and ya girl were cute at the mall today 🖕. I was mad but happy at the same time cause if I was by myself I wouldn't have even texted him at all and 5 seconds later he texted back saying look I'm sorry but ion think this gone work out im getting back with my ex hope we can still be friends though. I texted back and said don't come to me when she dump yo ass again, then I just layed there and cried with Royal rubbing my back.

After Bre so rudely interrupted my sleep I felt really bad for her cause she was really starting to like him, I told her she could stay the night if she wanted to and of course she did. We woke up and got dress then headed to school. I decided not to tell her about Quise just yet cause she was still mad about last night.

I see Marquise and he comes up to me. Why you didn't text me back lastnight? He asked. I fell I asleep I lied. Yea ok he said with a smirk.

We all sat and talked and Jared walked up and it was just an awkward silence until Quise broke it by saying wassup, he sat down and I kept looking at him stare at Bre while she was just in her phone I knew she was trying to avoid looking at him so I told everyone we were going to go. Omg thank you girl your a life saver she said smiling. You kniw I always gotbya back girl that was weird though he kept staring at you I said. I know I could feel it but I didn't pay him no mind at all. I know that's right girl. So I decided to tell her about Quise and I convo last night. Hey girl look at this shit *handing her my phone*. Omg girl he done with her and he like you? She said looking up from the phone. Yea I know but ima little sketchy about this whole thing its so surreal cause I mean they were together for the longest so idk. Yea you right but just try it out she said.
