Kasey was walking at a steady pace down a long dark narrow hallway. Kasey noticed that something wasn't right, 'this hallway is always lit up why is it dark all of the sudden'. She knew that there must be a reason for this occurrence, so she continued walking at her prior pace. She finally reached the room she was so disparately seeking for and entered. As she stepped in she made sure to check the clock on the wall, to see if she wasn't late, and to her surprise she was actually 15 minutes early. 'Great' she thought, 'At least I'm able to catch up on the book I've been reading'. She's been reading the same book constantly for the past week, she couldn't put it down for the fact that it fit the category of her interest. The book was titled 'An Exploration Through The Mysteries Of The Universe' by Marcus Robinson. Well after all there was no need to read about it when she was going to learn about it. She was filled with such enthusiasm, anxious to get this started. After the 15 minutes are up a bell rings, and of course a man walks in, the man she's been anticipating.
"Hello there Ms. Jetson, how are you this morning?" Said the man with a wide grin on his face.
"Very well sir, and yourself?" She responding with a kind smile.
"I'm doing great, just exhausted. I didn't get much sleep last night."
"How come? If you don't mind me asking." She asked concerned.
"I was very busy."
He gave her a short and quick response signaling her that he didn't want to speak of it. After a short moment of silence she decides to speak up,
"Professor by any chance do you know why the lights in the hallway are dim, they're usually very bright."
"I believe because professor Peters had a malfunction during his experiment and it had an effect on the light bulbs, which caused each light bulb in the building to either blow up or dim, and some just flicker."
'Wow, It must have been a hell of an experiment' she thought aloud without realizing it.
"I'm sure" he agreed.
"Well Ms. Jetson we can't be wasting much time, we must begin with your training" He interrupted.
"Yes, of course professor Walters, what will today's objective be?" She had forgotten her purpose in this room for a split second.
"Today we are going to continue with the basics, after all you're only in level 1 of Travel Mechanism, so that's what I'm allowed to teach you." He reminded her. "Today's lesson is titled 'Enter & Exit', the title is very much self explanatory."
"By now you've recognized that the universe is very vast. The only way to travel through it will be by jumping through dimensions, the question is where do we find these entries that we seek? Do you have any idea Ms. Jetson?"
"No sir"
