Jackie's P.O.V

I go to school the next day and guess who starts terrorizing me. The head cheerleader, Claire. But guess who her boyfriend is, yep L-O-G-A-N. I highly doubt that he's gonna stay with her for more than two weeks, three weeks top. I haven't completely been a nobody, I met this nice gut, his name is Eric. There's only one thing that makes me uncomfortable, he's on the basketball team.......with Logan. He's Logan's best friend. If you're wondering why I keep talking about Logan, it's because there was a bunch of crying coming from his house all night. I think it's his little sister or something. Anyways, I was just sitting outside during lunch when Claire came up to me.

"I heard you moved into the house next to Logan," Claire sneered "just make sure to stay away from him"

"I don't even want to be around that jerk." I say back "You might not want to be around him for much longer either."

"Why!" She asked, clearly agitated

"Because, even though I've known him for two days," I say, still calm "I know he's gonna dump you in about two weeks"

That made her mad, she pulled me toward the trees where her posse was. Claire told them what I said and her and her friends started punching and kicking me. I wasn't gonna lose without a fight, so I at least have one girl a bloody nose, and another a black eye. Unfortunately, I was out numbered and they kept pounding me. I was close to blacking out when I saw some people running toward us. I could barely make out the blurry face of some teachers......and then I saw Logan's blurry face leading all the teachers. Claire kicked me in the head one last time, and I was out.
