Chapter 48

Joey's P.O.V

SHANE!!!!!!! Is it real? Could it be? I brushed the back of my fingers on his face to see. I felt him. He's here and real. I grabbed on to him and held him, like a hug. I'm never letting go. Ok I will eventually but not at the moment.

Shane: I am so sorry Joey. I take back everything. I got over dramatic.

I let go. Let it be known that it only for now.

Joey: Its ok Shane. Your in front of me and that's all that's important.

He cracked a smile. A smile of pure joy. The smile i haven't seen in forever.

Shane: I love you Joey. Im so sorry. Im sorry. Im sorry. Im sorry. Im so-

Joey: I get it. It's ok. And im sorry.

Shane: For what?

Joey: You know what, i actually dont know, but i do. I can't put it in words. But im just sorry.

Shane: Joey, theres nothing to be sorry about.

He got up from kneeling on the floor and sat next to me on the couch.

Joey: Yes there is. I just dont have words to explain.

Shane: No Joey. I have more of a reason. Im sorry for not believing you. Im sorry for not kissing you back in the car. Im sorry making you very stressed. Im sorry for worrying you. Im sorry for-

Joey: Shane im fine. Do you love me?

Shane: Of course

Joey: That's all that matters

Shane: What about the stuff that's been happening to us?

There was a very short pause. Then i talked

Joey: A little birdie told me to push everything else aside.

He shed a tear. A tear of joy. Just to be clear, he was smiling. Then rushed to hold me.

Shane's P.O.V

I held him in my arms. To have a boyfriend like this is one in a million. Then i whispered in his ear.

Shane: I love you Joey

Joey: I love you too Shane.........can you do me a small favor?

Shane: What's that?

Joey: Don't let go

Shane: I won't

We were holding eachother and that's when he asked the question ive been wondering.

Joey: Babe, what time is it?

Shane: Um, 2:48 am

Joey: Oh. Im tired. Goodnight Shane

Shane: Goodnight...babe

That's when Joey fell asleep. I checked my phone. I went under photo's. i just looked through them. Memories. Memories. And memories. The beginning was before we were going out, the rest was after. And basically 99.9%+0.1% of my pictures is either me and Joey or Joey alone. I looked down at Joey. He was asleep. Calmly this time. I went on instagram and looked through his pictures. I looked at the time. 3:45. Ok time to go to sleep Shane. I put my phone down. I looked at Joey again. I kissed him. Then i went to sleep. Goodnight.
