"Emma you've got soccer training in an hour. Get ready now please!" Momma yells to Emma. Emma rushes down the stairs in her soccer uniform with her tied up, socks, and pre wrap headband. That was Emma's original look for soccer, to get her real outfit for the day just take away the soccer socks. Emma wasn't the type of girl to dress up she felt being comfortable is key, getting dressed up to her was like hell it just took way too long and she didn't have the time and patience. Emma enjoyed horseback riding, watching vet shows, and messing around with a soccer ball in her free time. Her work, was soccer. Emma was phenomenal player and got first string varsity for her high school team. She recently got recruited for a ODP (Olympic Development Program) team. And next summer was when she'd be traveling nation wide to play against top notch soccer teams. Emma worked very hard for the spot she has now. She's working hard to get a scholarship to vet school. When Emma got to training she practiced her foot skills and defending her personal trainer. After her training she saw some other guys playing across the field, she then slightly turned her head to the left and saw a boy by himself shooting on a net. She then looked at her mother and got back in the car. "What were you looking for Emma?" Momma said. "I just saw other people shooting on net and I was just checking it out" "oh ok. How was training?!?" "Great! I did a bunch of foot skills and defending on Alexandrea" (Alexandra is the name of her trainer) "that's great! How'd you do" "great I love it so much!" "Good to hear sweet p" after the conversation the radio was turned up and thoughts were blooming in Emma's mind. She couldn't stop thinking about that boy, he just looked like he needed a friend someone to play with, someone to look out for him.
The next day Emma got up early and she was craving the feel of the soccer ball bouncing off her foot. "Mom I'm gonna head to the field. Get my cardio and shooting in" "ok be safe. Call if you need anything" "k!" Emma walked out the door in a nice sports tank top and nice soccer shorts. She finally changed it up some and put her dark brown silky hair into a messy bun. Emma's life was weird, she lives in Indiana for summer training and then moves back north for school, it didn't make sense to her. She was thinking how this is her last summer here. She ran up to the fields and no one was there except for that boy. Emma the curious young lady ran up to him and tapped his shoulder. "AHH!" The boy yells falling to the ground in great fear. "Oh my goodness are you good?!?" Emma yelled back holding back her awkward loud laugh. "Yeah I'm fine" he got up and laughed. "I'm Emma and......" Emma was interrupted by the boy. "I'm sorry I don't wanna know." "What? I was just trying to be nice. You looked lonely here yesterday and I just wanted to be frien....." The boy interrupted her again and then asked her to leave. Emma left and started shooting on the net next to him. 25 minutes later Emma decided to leave as she was leaving she had feeling that the boy was watching her. She was so confused to why he didn't wanna to get to know her.
Simons pov
I feel like a jerk. I know that girl doesn't know my story but now she should leave me alone. I don't wanna get attached, it's like Luke he just left me. The time that I need him he's gone. I come to this same net everyday, all day, and every summer. I miss Luke and this is what we always did with each other. Ever since he left me for that dumb soccer team, he never came back.
Emma's pov
I don't see why he would act like that. I know somethings up and I gotta find out what, the poor boy is probably nervous about getting more friends, ESPECIALLY girl friends.
Emma again goes back out the next day and sees the boy. She runs up again and tries not to startle the thing again. "Hey" he turns his head slightly "hi"
