Micah awoke with a massive headache. He groaned, he seriously did not need this today. He had a huge plan for today and no stupid headache was gonna prevent him.

He got up and dressed my bothering to turn on the radio, he already knew what he'd hear. He went downstairs and started towards the nearest Caribou Coffee shop.

As he ordered his usual drink he stood and waited for his blended white vanilla drink. That's what he called it anyway. As he waited, he noticed a familiar face. It was Paul's.

Paul was one of those shy emo punky kids that wanted to fit in with society by wearing a bunch of bracelets and necklaces and colored skinny jeans and band tee shirts of bands no ones ever heard of but denied ever wanting to ever actually wanting to fit in.

After he grabbed his drink he grabbed his drink and headed towards Paul. "Hey Paul." Micah beamed.

"Oh hey.. Micah! It's been so long!" Paul got up and shook Micah's hand.

"Yes indeed it has." Micah smiled as he sat across from Paul. He stared at Paul as he stirred his dark coffee. "How've you been?" Micah started.

"Oh..good good... Yourself?" Paul stuttered.

"I've been ok. Something on your mind?" Micah was eager to know what was going on through Paul's mind.

"It's real personal.." Paul's started. Micah patted his hand and gave him a reassuring nod. "Okay... I'm gay."

Micah's eyes widened. "You're gay?" He started, it sounded funny coming out of his mouth.

"Yes.. I'm gay, and I have been crushing on..well..you for a long time." Paul looked down embarrassed and ashamed.

"Don't be embarrassed Paul. Look, how bout you swim by my place later tonight and we'll talk about this ok?" Micah smiled.

"Ok.." Paul said quietly while stirring his coffee.

"Alright, see you then." Micah got up and walked out of the coffee shop and headed back to his apartment. His head felt like it was going to explode. What was he going to do? This would only get in the way of things. He had to figure out what to do about Paul. Fast.
