Fixing The Broken

You were the best friend of Kushina, you've been friends since the first day she arrived in Konoha.

*Flashback*

You were in the middle of class, thinking of what you were going to do that day. 'Maybe I should go to my secret garden...' One day you stumbled upon a dying garden, next to a waterfall. You decided to take care of it to pass time when you had nothing to do. It slowly became a hobby, and was one of the most beautiful things you've ever seen, and you didn't want anyone to destroy it, so you didn't tell anyone of it's existence. Your thoughts were interrupted by your teacher. "All right everyone, quiet down. We have a new transfer student today, who will now be attending our academy." He says, one of his hands on the back of a scarlet headed girl. 'Wow...what pretty hair!' You thought to yourself, staring in awe. Suddenly, the girl bursts out, "I'm Kushina Uzumaki, ya know!" Before slapping her hands over her mouth. 'She's so cute! What an adorable speech habit!' You think, trying not to look weird just in case she sees you. You were a person who didn't care about gender, as long as they had a personality you liked. The other kids started laughing and pointing, making fun of her hair. "Look at the color of her hair!" "How do you get it that red!" "Her hairs really weird!" While saying this, she was playing with and rubbing her hair, most likely self conscious about it. You wanted to comfort the poor girl, but you couldn't disrupt class, you would have to do it later. Kushina. mumbled something under her breathe, staring to look mad. "I'm going to become the village's first female Hokage!" Kushina yells at us all with determination. All of a sudden a blonde kid stood up. 'I think his name is Minato...oh well, it won't matter.' You think to yourself, to busy admiring the red-haired girls determination. "I want to become a great Hokage who will be admired by everyone in the village too!" He yells, seemingly excited. "Okay Kushina you can sit next too... (F/N) (L/N)! (F/N) Please raise your hand. You do as he says, excited to meet the transfer student. Kushina walks to her seat, sitting down glaring at the class still making fun of her hair. "Hi! My name is (F/N) (L/N), it's a pleasure to meet you Uzumaki-San!" You say taking out your hand for her to shake. "What? Your not gonna make fun of me?" Kushina asks with a raised eyebrow. "Of course not silly, I hope to be great friends with you." You say, lifting your hand even more to get her attention on it. "Really? We're going to be great friends, Ya know!" Kushina exclaims, excited on her new, even first, friend. She still forgot to shake your hand though. Awkward...

But that was the day a beautiful friendship started.

*Flashback Ends*

"(N/N)! (N/N)!!!" Someone screams. "H-huh!? Oh! Kushi what do you need?" You ask, embarrassed your crush saw you dozing off like that. "I was wondering if you can give these to Minato. I'm going on a mission soon, and Minato can't cook for himself, so Give him this food I made, and this note." Kushina says, worried for her boyfriend. "Sure Kushi! Whatever you need." You say smiling. 'I'm only doing this for you. I don't even know why you like him...' You think to yourself walking towards his house.

*Time Skip*

"Hello! Minato!" You yell, pounding on his door. "What the hell is he doing?" You mutter yourself. "IF YOU DON'T OPEN THIS DOOR I'LL BREAK IT DOWN!" You yell, to apparently deaf ears. You sigh in defeat. "Whatever." You say, breaking his door knob off. You walk in and see another pair of shoes. 'Does he have family over? No, he's never had family over.' You may not like him and Kushina being together, but that doesn't stop you from liking him as a person, your actually pretty good friends despite your mean behavior to him. "Wait... What's that sound?" You whisper to yourself. You tip toe to his door and open it slightly. What you saw shocked you. Minato was slamming into a female, with seemingly no regrets. You swing open the door by accident and dropped all the food Kushina made. Minato looks over, shocked by your sudden presence. You stand and stare at him with a shocked face (The picture on top.)  "(F-F/N)!" He says, worried on what you might do. "AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!" You scream, running out of his house. 'I'm so glad I never let him give me one of those kunais!' You think running to tell Kushina what you just saw.

*Time Skip*

You run to your secret garden (imagine), to see Kushina relaxing sitting there. "K-kushina!" You pants falling over. "(F/N)! Whats the matter!? What happened!?" She question worried on why your breathing so hard. "Kushina i'm so sorry..." You mutter. "What!? What do you mean?" She says, freaked out. "M-minato...I saw him cheating on you..." You mutter looking down. She backs up, shocked. "W-what? NO! THATS A LIE! YOU'RE LYING TO ME! YOU'RE JUST JEALO-" She says, until you interrupt her. "Kushina. I need you to believe me, and I know how to make you." You say looking her straight in the eye.

*Time Skip*

"Kushina meet Inoichi, of the Yamanaka clan." You say, introducing her to your friend. "Inoichi I need you to dive into my mind, and find the memory of Minato cheating on Kushina." You command him. "All right." He says, putting his hand on your head. He then takes his off your head and says "Sorry Kushina...It's true." Knowing she can't deny anymore, falls to her knees bawling. You crouch down next to her and hug her. "Kushi, don't be sad it'll be fine." You say an a attempt to comfort her. "Why...?Am I not good enough? What does she have that I don't...? Is it because i'm a jinchuuriki?" She asks, falling even deeper into her pit of despair. "Kushina...Don't say that! You're beautiful, and the best person I've ever met. Who cares if hes not gonna be here. I will. I will be here for you, and always will be. Wasn't I from the start?" You whisper into her ear, patting her head. "You know what? Your right! I'm Kushina Uzumaki, ya know! I am the jinchuuriki of the kyuubi, I will not be defeated over a single man!" She yells life going back into her eyes. "Thank you so much (N/N), I don't know what I'd do without you." Your face turns red, I mean, she's still your crush. "N-no problem! I'd do what any best friend would do!" You stutter, blushing at her statement. "No. You want to be more than friends." She states staring into your eyes, with a smirk on her face. "W-WHAT!?" You scream shocked. "I don't know why I never realized it before! It was so obvious, you were always so jealous over Minato, you would always blush when I spent the night. You wouldn't even go clothes shopping with me! It's so fricking obvious, ya know!" She says. "W-w-what! N-no! You got it all wrong!" You say trying to hide your secret. "But I think...I realized something too. How you've been with me from the start. How you never left my side in my worst moments! You were there when Minato wasn't..." She says putting her hand on your cheek, making you blush even worse at the contact. "How did I not realize you were the one?" She says before you felt something soft on your lips. You tense, but relax right after, kissing her back. After a couple of seconds you both pull away, with the taste of ramen in your mouth. "I love you so much, Kushina." You say to her, staring lovingly into her eyes. "I love you too! We were really meant to be, ya know!" Kushina says. You laugh at her speech habit, happy you guys were finally together.

But you guys didn't know, Minato was watching the whole time, wanting to make it up to her, chewing on his sleeve in jealousy, and anime tears streaming down his face.

You also forgot about Inoichi, who was passed out on the floor with a nosebleed.

Later on life, you proposed to Kushina, got married, and went to a sperm bank to have a child. You guys discovered it was going to be a boy, and decided to name him Naruto! When Kushina gave birth, Minato and his own wife, the one he cheated on Kushina with, helped with a sealing jutsu Jiraiya, Kushina and yourself have been experimenting and working on. Naruto still goes through a harsh life, but has two awesome moms to support him. With Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi, his childhood friend, Matsu (Minato's daughter), and the rest of the genin, Naruto will grow to be one of the most well known heroes in the land.
