Day 23
"Chanyeol?" Haeri called out. "Chanyeol?" She opened the bathroom door and checked for his presence. "Park Chanyeol~" she called once again as she peek under the bed.
She gave up and sit down on the floor. She heave a sigh of defeat. She told him to come out but he didn't.
"Chanyeol, stop fooling. This isn't funny," she said as she slowly stand up from the floor.
Her window were open as the wind blew the curtains beautifully. Suddenly, she heard thunder from up the sky. She walked to her window and before closing them, she looked up to the dark sky.
Rain started to pour down. It gets colder so she switched off the air conditioner. She walked downstairs to see her mother switching off the television.
"Mom, where's Sena?" She asked, waiting for an answer.
"She might be back late. She said she has some errands," her mother shrugged.
"But it's going to rain heavily anytime sooner," Haeri stated worriedy.
"Let's hope she'll get back on time."
She shrugged it off then walked to the kitchen to get something to drink. Once she put the glass in the sink, she froze. She just remembered that she was supposed to be looking for Chanyeol.
She silently groaned as she rushed back upstairs to her bedroom. She kept on searching everywhere but to no avail. She sighed as she flopped down on her bed, with her body bouncing a bit.
Haeri closed her eyes wanting a short rest. She dozed off right away without caring how loud the thunder was.
Sena's POV
I walked to the school entrance only to find the rain pouring heavily. I started to regret it for not bringing any umbrella. I decided to wait as I walked to my locker.
Bored, I arranged my locker neatly until I realized a coloured paper, sitting neatly on top of my notebook. I smiled at the memories behind the letter. I open it up only to see Haeri's handwriting.
I still remember why she wrote this down. A birthday. Our birthday. I keep on forgetting about it. That's why she's the only one who often make surprise for me.
The mixture of lightning and thunder make me jumped. God. It's getting worse and not better. Such an idiot decision. I should've just run earlier.
I walked along the quiet hallway as I saw a familiar person, pacing back and forth right at the entrance.
"Xiumin!" I shouted as I hastened my footsteps when I was able to recognize him.
"Sena, what are you doing here?" He asked in surprise.
"I got some errands to do. Unfortunately, it just happened to be raining so miserably," I sighed. "What about you?"
"Football," he simply answered. "Oh, there they are."
Ever since we were young, Xiumin never hated football. I don't even understand why would football be so likeable to most boys? Like, why would mixed martial arts be so likeable to a girl like me.
"Sena, hi!!" Luhan waved his hand in the air as soon as he spotted me.
"Wait, there's something under your eye," Sehun pointed out.
