Saturday

I woke up to the sun hitting my face and groaned. I took my phone in my hand and checked the time, 12.28pm. I had few missed calls from Louis, so I dialed his number and pressed the phone to my ear. "Heyo", he answered sounding wide awake. "You called", I said in my morning voice and rubbed my eyes. "Yes, when are you coming?", he asked. "Uh, let me just shower first", I said. "Okay, do you want me to pick you up when you're ready?", he asked. "Please", I said and sat up on the bed with a little groan. "Okay, text me and I'll be there", he said and I hummed. "Have fun in the shower, think about Mr. Payne", he said hanging up and I could hear the smirk in his voice.

I let out a small chuckle and got up from the bed dropping my phone on it. I walked in my bathroom, stripped my clothes off and stepped in the shower. I washed myself, stepped out and wrapped a towel around my waist. I brushed my teeth and walked back in my room. I put on some deodorant and headed to my dresser. I pulled on black skinny jeans, my Cool Kids Don't Dance t-shirt and a denim jacket with a hood on it. I walked over to my bed, sent Louis a text telling him to come pick me up and shoved my things in my pockets.

I walked downstairs and smiled a little to Rose. "I'm going to Lou's and I'm probably staying the night, is that alright?", I asked and she nodded smiling. "Of course, just don't do anything stupid", she said and I chuckled a bit. "I won't", I told her and walked to the front door. I pulled on my shoes and ruffled my hair a little. "Bye", I yelled and got the same respond from Rose. I stepped out of the door and sat on the stairs fishing a cigarette from my pocket. I lit it and sucked on it.

I breathed out the smoke and bit my lower lip gently. I smoked in my own thoughts until I heard a car honk and looked up. I saw Louis and got up from the stairs. I took one last smoke from the cigarette before dropping it on the ground and stepping on it. I got in his car and buckled the seat belt. "Morning", I said with a smile and he nodded. "I was thinking that we could do something for breakfast when we get to my place", he said and I nodded. "That sounds good, I'm actually really hungry", I said with a small laugh. "Good", he said smiling. "Harry and Niall are coming over a bit later", he said and I nodded turning the radio on.

We sang along with the songs that we knew and before I knew it, we were parked in front of Louis' house. "Mum and dad are still in Greece", he told me and I nodded getting out of the car. We walked in and kicked our shoes off. We headed to the kitchen and Louis handed me a coke can with a smile. "Thank you", I said opening it and sipping from it. "So when are you getting the drinks?", I asked as Louis started to look something from the cabinets. "Probably when Harry and Niall get here, so you won't have to wait alone", he said with a smile and I nodded. "That's very thoughtful of you", I said with a chuckle and he flipped me off.

"What are we making?", I asked. "Pancakes or waffles?", he asked from me. "Uh, which is easier?", I asked and he chuckled. "Probably pancakes", he said and I nodded. "Those then", I said and he rolled his eyes at me. I sipped my soda and waited for Louis to get all the ingredients out. "Okay, Zaynie boy", he said and I chuckled. "What?", I asked. "You're stronger than me so you have to mix these", he said and I chuckled again. "Yea, yea", I said walking to him. He read something from his phone and put stuff in the bowl.

I watched as he added stuff and mixed when he told me to mix. "You know, this is the first time in forever that I'm making food or baking or anything like that", I said and he looked at me with a quite shocked look. "Are you being serious?", he asked and I nodded with a small chuckle. "Why don't you do this stuff, it's fun even though I can't bake", Louis asked with a laugh. "My mind's been all over the place because of the new family, new house, new school, new town, you know", I said and he nodded.
