"Stay close," Tanner says as he places an arm around my shoulder, pulling me so close to him I could feel his hips against my waist.

"Tann, I'm fine. You don't have to do this." I reject, trying to pull free from his grasp.

As soon as I said that, Ian arrives, as if on cue, he drove his shining red Porsche right in front of the entrance of the school, where we were, and walks out with a pair of sunglasses shielding his eyes while his chauffeur parked his car. What does he think he is? Some superstar? I stiffen under Tanner's arm.

"See?" He mocks, then pulling me once again towards the school, maneuvering his way across Ian like he wasn't there at all.

"Hey Freshmen!" Ian yells from behind us, Freshmen? What the hell? But Tanner continued walking, ignoring it.

"Oh my god Kathy! You're back! Hey girl!" Nayla exclaims as she spots Tanner and I walking towards them. We all greet each other, hugging one another. I was so glad to be back again with them. I'm so done with all the guy drama. I just wanna return to the days where anything hardly happened you know?

"Tanner motherf-ing Zack, how dare you disrespect your captain and senior!?" Ian shouted as he walked over to Tanner, ignoring all the stares he was getting. Did I say I'm done with guy drama? Well here's one.

"Respect?" Tanner scoffed, "Pretty sure you lost mine, or don't deserve it in the first place."

Ian's brows furrowed, "What did you say?" He asks through gritted teeth as he pulls Tanner towards him by the collar.

"You heard me the first time," Tanner smirked, as people started crowding around and were soon chanting "Fight, fight, fight!" Oh god, someone needs to stop this. I scanned the crowd, obviously all these teenagers want is action, no one's gonna stop this.

"Guys! Cut it out!" I whispered harshly as I moved towards Tanner. But I was too late, Ian's fist already started swinging towards Tanner and it hit him right on the jaw. Tanner stumbled a little, rubbing his jaw then snickered at Ian. "That's all you have? Pathetic."

In a blink of an eye, Tanner's fist connected with the side of Ian's face making Ian cry out in pain as he fell backwards but got caught midair by his group mates. I noticed that the side of his cheek down to his jaw was bruised, a mixture of the color red and black. Which reminded me, when Tanner came to get me out of Ian's room... That fight... Tanner must have hit him hard.. I quickly dismissed those thoughts as I rushed over to push Tanner away from Ian.

"Tanner, calm dow-" I couldn't finish my sentence as a hand grabbed my shoulders from behind and pulled me backwards.

Ian spun me around so that I was facing him. "We should finish what we started," he says as his hands trailed down my arm. God! The nerve of him! I shudder at his touch as memories from the party started coming back. I was ready to break down any second now.

"Get away," Tanner growled as he quickly pulled me away from Ian.

"Shouldn't you be the one backing away? Can't you tell she enjoys being with me?" He sneered, lips curling into a devilish grin.

Without any warning, Tanner launched himself at Ian, pushing him on to the floor, punching him in the bruised area again. He was about to take another swing when I pulled him away and the teacher arrived.
