A New Beginning[On Hold]

Chapter 20

Thanks for sticking with me for 20 chapters!

Hermione's POV:

We drove for a while longer before arriving home.

I looked out the car window at the place I now call home.

It looked the same, but now I knew that I would value the time in it more.

Draco got out of the car and got my wheelchair from the back.

He helped me into it.

I took the bag from him again.

He began to wheel me up the path.

It was bumpy.

I laughed because Draco started shaking the chair even more.

Now I was bouncing around.

Soon, despite all the bumps, we got to the house without me falling out of the wheelchair.

Draco flicked his wand and the door opened with a click.

He wheeled me inside and stopped inside the door.

He took off his shoes and put them by the door.

When he wasn't looking, I got up out of my wheelchair.

He only noticed when the floor creaked beneath my feet.

I turned around.

Draco was looking at me, his eyes looking stern.

"Sorry." I said, backing away from him.

"There is no sorry!" Draco said, running at me.

I froze in fright, squeezing my eyes shut.

I felt my feet leave the ground.

However, Draco had just picked me up.

I opened one eye.

He was carrying me bridal style.

I opened the other eye, relaxing.

Draco carried me over to the couch, where he set me down gingerly.

"Were you trying to escape your medicine?" He asked.

"No.." I said, pretending to be frightened.

"Well, Super Snake is here to make you take your medicine!" Draco said.

I laughed.

Draco went to the kitchen and got a glass of water.

He got a pill out of the bag.

It was small, so I swallowed it easily.

I drank all of the water and set down the glass.

I looked around for Draco.

He was gone.

I began to panic.

"Draco?!" I calls out.

There was no response.

However, something moved behind me.

I turned around.

"Boo!" Draco said.

I screamed.

Draco came around to the front of the couch.

"Sorry, Hermione. I didn't know you'd be scared so easily." He said.

"Its alright. I'm still just kind of on edge." I said.

He nodded.

"Can I tell you something?" He asked.

"Sure." I said.

Draco took a deep breath.

"I'm an Anigmus." He said.

Beside me, Draco turned into a snake.

Woah!

He's an anigmus!

Not really, but he is here.
