Annie's POV
Ava brought me into a hospital like room. She sat me down on a bed and began to explain what she was going to do. Apparently she was going to do an operation on my head to take out the part of the chip that took away my memories, but she would leave the part that allowed me to communicate telepathically with her...
She said there was nothing she could do to get rid of the powers I had. So I'd have to come to this hospital inside a room inside a hospital... whatever, every few days for training. There would be others like me and we'd all learn to control our powers? It confused me a lot, she said I was going to 'save the world' with these powers. That was the lamest thing I've ever heard. I mean, it doesn't even look like there's anything wrong with the world!
I just wish Dylan was here, which reminds me, I asked her if Dylan could come to my training with me and she said yes! She probably only said yes because I said I needed emotional support but either way, I get Dylan.
Anyway, after she explained the whole procedure, which all flew over my head, she began to work.
First she injected something in me and thankfully, I got knocked out. It's a good thing too, I mean I don't want to have to feel all of... whatever she's doing.

I woke up in the same hospital bed, Dylan was beside me and I could see Ava across the room. Dylan's face lit up when he saw me awake. He was sitting very uneasy and seeing his tension lighten up just made me feel good.
"Annie!" He screamed, drawing all attention to us. He hugged me, and I hugged back.
"Dylan, I think she restored my memories, but like she also said I have some storm powers-" I tried to explain quickly, before Ava came. But she came and I stopped.
Annie can you hear me?
Uh yeah, but can you not speak in my mind... I want Dylan to hear.
Will do. She said
"Okay Annie, you already know you got your memories back. You can still communicate with me telepathically, just make sure only the 3 of us know about this. Anyway, I'm going to get Dylan to hold up old pictures. You need to tell me if anything comes to mind." She nodded to Dylan who held out a picture, a school photo. He pointed to an older man.
"Wasn't that our science teacher? Uh Mr... Mr. Scallen!" I exclaimed.
"Yes! Yes!!" Dylan yelled with happiness, he held up another picture.

Many, many pictures later, Ava confirmed my memories were back.
"Now time to explain the storm powers" Ava began.
"The storm what" Dylan interrupted.
Ava explained all about the storm powers. At first Dylan didn't believe it. Then, she showed me how to use them. We practiced a bit, she mentioned the whole saving the world thing and again it annoyed me.
I argued about how the world didn't need saving, and this time Dylan backed me up. Ava simply said that there is more to the world than we think and said that we'll understand later.
After a few hours of learning to control it, she let Dylan and I go.
We struggled to get out of the hospital. It was very, very confusing but we finally made it.
"So, wanna play around a bit" Dylan laughed while nudging me.
I giggled and then held out my hand, "she said I can make storms, and with an ice storm I can make ice" I winked. Dylan's face lit up and he chuckled.
I still don't know how to explain how I do this, I guess it just comes naturally. So I held my hands out, made an ice storm come out. For a few minutes Dylan and I were in the middle of freezing cold ice. And then it hardened. The ice created a path for us.
Both of us got on it and I repeated what I did, we casually walked on ice in the middle of the night. The few people who saw were very confused, but the ice behind us melted once we were done with it so they couldn't follow.
"I'm making a slide, we're almost at my house, wanna stay over? Mom and dad are out on a business trip so I don't want to be stuck with Tyler" I laughed.
"Sure, I'll stay but only if you make the slide epic" I laughed at his comment and tired my best. I was able to somewhat smooth it out.
"Ready?" Dylan said at he gestured for me to sit in his lap.
"Let's go" I smiled. We slid down right into the front yard of my house.
I rang the doorbell and Tyler answered. Dylan snorted "damnnnnnn Tyleeerrrrr nice boxers man"
Tyler looked down, then laughed. "I thought you were going to stay at the hospital overnight?"
"How'd you know" I asked.
"I told him, and your parents" Dylan mentioned "I thought they should know..."
"Thank you" I smiled as I said it.
"Everything's all good, I'm glad you're back, mom and dad will be back tomorrow and...that's it, you should sleep Annie, oh yeah, Dylan are you staying over?"
He nodded.
"I still don't want you sleeping with my sister" Tyler joked.
Dylan picked me up and brought me to my room, he gave Tyler a mocking smile, "I'm a good guy Tyler calm yourself" he laughed.
Dyaln's POV
Tyler made his way to his room and Annie went straight to bed, she was so tired and I get why.
I went and sat on the other side of the bed. I haven't felt this happy in and long time and I know someone is going to ruin it at school tomorrow, so I'm going to be happy while I can. I got in bed and put my arm around Annie.
"Goodnight Annie, I love you" I whispered.
She heard and whispered back "I love you too"
I gave her a kiss, and went to bed.

The sound of my phone ringing woke me up, Annie was still asleep. I checked the time, 5am. Who is calling now? I got up to check my phone.
