Materials, do we really need them , or do we wear them for the attention , of others only for them to clarify how nice we look , all the labels and designers , all the dollars it took, to obtain , to simply have the latest look, has manifested to our brain , Wanting to be our favorite celebrity , spending more then our wage , carving animals for a purse , using cotton picked by slaves , to impress , with a thousand dollar dress , to be cool with three hundred dollar shoes , we’re like a sponge to the new , while “THEY” laugh , and call us fools. Not to tell you to look atrocious , when at home or in public , but think before you swipe your card , if you don’t need it , then fuck it. They say death over designer , but does the designer care about your existence , cost an arm and leg to pay to cover your arms and your legs. Eye myself is a thrifter , cause i believe in cheap but nice quality , its crazy when i step into a fashion store , every section i look eyes follow me , Not to tell you to look atrocious , when at home or in public , but think before you swipe your card , if you don’t need it , then fuck it. I can save a life with the earnings that i made , not to be apart of a trend that will eventually fade. Now ask yourself , would they notice you , if you didn’t notice the fancy clothes from your favorite store , calculate the things you bought , its okay ill wait if you ain’t for sure. what are you afraid of , to be ridiculed , by somebody that’s not into you , until you put on expensive tennis shoes , or them heels that made you gracefully stand 5’6 when you only stand 5’2. I paid for a lot of expensive things , so i can relate its an urge , working hard , day by day , paychecks here , then time to splurge , but then i reflected on the items i collected , i pretty much had everything i wanted on my checklist , but the future , and goals to be set , managing money was part 1 still doing it step by step , not telling you to look atrocious , when at home or in public , but think before you swipe , if you don’t need it .. then fuck it.
