The year is 2064 the world, earth that was it was called I think I can't remember the name, no one can. What I do now is that it was destroyed 40 years ago. By doctor Nick well...... that was my mum said anyway she died when I was 10. Well that sort of brings things on to me. My name is Ruby Amanda Jones, but most people call me Raj I am 16 years old. I live in the wasteland a big land were UK used to be, but there not much water, but me and my dad survive. We leave in a little village named Stunt. I don't have many friends, I choose to keep my self in my room, reading books that my mum left me, they all about the wasteland. 'Ruby get down here NOW' her dad shouted up. She sighed and went down 'what up' she said to her dad casual, what up is that I'm going hurting for lizard's'
'ok see you' And she walked back up to her room. 'Lizards yuck I hate them' she mumbled on the way to her room. As she walked up to her room she stumped her toe on a lose floor board, and shouted a curse word lucky no one heard me I think. "What this" she muttered to her self, it a key she Picked it up and examine it. "No way, this is the key to mum's office. Why was it there of all places? I won't hurt to talk a peek I suppose" so she headed went back up the stairs.
