"I can't believe you! How could you do this to me!" I screamed at him at the top of my lungs. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to," He said. "What you didn't "mean" to have an affair with MY BESTFRIEND!" He stood there in silence. "See you don't even have anything to say because you know what you did was on purpose." My voice has calmed down by now, but I am still pissed at him. He can't even look at me in the eyes. We sit there in the park for at least 10 minutes in silence. Finally, I get up and walk away. I can't stand looking at his disgusting face. What he did to me was selfish, horrible, and very, very hurtful. Roxy and I have been friends since we were five.
*A day before*
"Hey Roxy." I yell across the park. She yelled back "Hey Alix." We meet in the middle and sat down on the bench under the cherry blossom tree. "So how is Jack." Roxy says very loudly. She basically yelled it out to the whole park to hear. "He is the best boyfriend ever. It's almost our are 1 year anniversary tomorrow." I say with excitement. Roxy looked down when I told her about that. Weird I thought to myself, but ignored it.
Jack has been my boyfriend for almost a year now. We met at a library downtown. We ran into each other while looking for a book. It turned out we where looking for the same book! So we started talking about how much we loved fantasy books. Jack and I started to see each other more and more as time passed. Finally, he asked me if I wanted to be his girlfriend. Of course I said yes and we have been together ever since.
"That is so cool." Roxy said "I am so happy for you two. I wish I could find a man like him." "Ya, he said he had something very important to tell me." I said. "Maybe you two would move in with each other once you graduate in a couple months?"Roxy said with excitement. "Maybe we could because neither of us want to go to college so that could probably work out." After a while of gossiping and talking about the future we went our separate ways to home. Besides it was almost dark, and what I didn't know was that I had a surprise when I got home....
