CLASH OF ANGELS :WRATH OF THE FALLEN

CHAPTER 1 :LOS ANGELES

(the following year)

"How did it come to this, what is the cause of it all, Man, the devil,  Thousands of years ago, man was given the power to choose a path, no one forced all this on us, we chose and now.... We suffer, we fall but together we will strive towards the light, we will rise, many will still fall.. But in time, we will accomplish wonders"

(In an underground facility..)

STAM:let me go!
VOICE :we have been looking for your kind for centuries.. Now i have you, how can i let you go?
STAM :urrrggghhh!! (he tries to break the enchanted chain. Huge men in black surrounds him.)
VOICE :you cant break free of that... Save your strength.
STAM :why dont you show your self, instead you send your puppets to do your dirty work. (the men grips stam tight and opens his mouth)
VOICE :now, you will tell me were the others are or i take your soul.
STAM :no wait! I am the last of my kind, you are making a mistake...
VOICE :liiiiaaaarrr!
STAM:i swear!.. I have seen none other like me, i am the last of my kind..... (his soul is dragged out of him aggressively)

(cassiel is running in the woods, Azreenu defends him from demons behind)

AZREENU :run cassiel! Run! ( the demons out number Azreenu, more and more keeps coming in packs, cassiel runs helplessly in the woods, his heart races fast, his feets are heavy out of fatigue. CASSIEL : Azreenu!! Azreenu!! (he falls to his knees breathing heavily. He hears roaring and whispers from the trees, he gets up again and begins to run. He gets to a cliff.)
DEMON 1:you will not escape. (cassiel looks far into the misty air and sees the Huge mansion. Cassiel draws out his curved sword and lifts it to the sky, the sword makes a bright burst of light, a signal.)
CASSIEL : come taste cold steel.(the demons charges at cassiel, he bravely fights them off at the cliff, more and more attacks, cassiel is clearly out numbered, he is knocked out and falls off the cliff. From the mist, Gargoyles descends slaying the demons, one of them flies down to cassiel before he reaches the ground.)

(down deep beneath the world of the living, lucifer meets naberius)

NABERIUS : master... (he bows his head)
LUCIFER : naberius.. You're getting on my nerves. ..
NABERIUS :we found one of them, he wouldnt talk
LUCIFER : those annoying little maggots are a torn in the flesh.. Ticks in my hair. They tend to destroy everything i try to create. Find the rest of teenagers like him and destroy them. Naberius, dont make me regret releasing you in the first place.
NABERIUS :yes master..

(Dawn, cassiel opens his eyes, looks around, an ancient chamber, designs, angel-like inscriptions on the walls, he sits up on the bed breathing heavily and terrified. Pete and Cleo enters the room.)

PETE: take it easy, calm down.
CLEO : the queen will see you now.. (a beautiful elderly woman, bright skin, blonde long hair, tall, sky blue eyes walks in with her most trusted general Gideon, a gargoyle lord.)
GIDEON :Heez neither one of us nor a demon..Ophir answered his call last night, demons were after him, my comrades saved him and got him here. (the queen Gorgo stares at cassiel with such mercy and pity)
GORGO :pete, cleo, leave us. (pete and cleo leaves the room. The queen walks closer to cassiel).
GIDEON :dont be afraid.. You are safe now.
GORGO :such strong pleasant presence... One we have not felt in a long time... (she opens cassiel's shirt and sees the winged symbol, she steps back away)..... . Or rather, the one we have been waiting for..... The prophecy is true. what is your name?
CASSIEL :cassiel.... Cassiel Alexander.
GORGO : I am queen Gorgo and this is Gideon my general.. welcome..... Cassiel Alexander. (she stretches her hand to Cassiel)

(Gorgo and Gideon walks Cassiel through the beautiful and bright large hall way)

CASSIEL :wow, incredible.. What is this place.
GORGO : a school, a home for ones called earth angels..dont confuse them with nephilims.. The students... (she shows cassiel some students possessing extra - ordinary abilities).. They are purely humans but gifted from birth with the powers of an angel.. Here, we Gargoyles teach them, protect them, show them the right path..
CASSIEL : Gargoyles? (Gorgo shows cassiel a huge statue on the top of a building, a muscular winged creature)
GORGO : the Gargoyles was brought into light by the great Archangel Michael since the release of demon prince Naberius.. On buildings, environments... Humans think of us as mere decoration but they have no idea of the terror they face. (on the top of the building).... Los Angeles. (Cassiel smiles at the beauty of the city.)
CASSIEL :its beautiful.. (a Gargoyle flies down to Gorgo and transforms into a man)
OPHIR : my queen, we found him.. The thought to have accompanied the boy.
CASSIEL : Azreenu.. Please, i need to see him..

(they get to the chambers were Azreenu is kept)

KIRA: he is wounded severely at different spots on his body... And all he says is "cassiel".. (cassiel walks to him on the bed sadly,he sits beside Azreenu.)
GORGO :who is he to you?
CASSIEL :my..... Guardian.
OPHIR :he heals faster than i expected. By tomorrow he will be fine..
CASSIEL :i will still with him for now... Thank you.. Very much
GORGO : cassiel if you want to remain here, this is your home now ok? (cassiel nods his head smiling)

(in the throne room)
GIDEON : bringing the angels here will surely attract the demons to us and if he is really the chosen one we could be looking at a war upon us.
GORGO :you have seen the marking on his chest, he is the one
GIDEON :as much as i want him to stay but the Gargoyles are not ready for war..
GORGO :that is risk i am willing to take.

(midnight, Azreenu is told to return to heaven, the next morning, cassiel walks with Azreenu in the plain fields)

CASSIEL :do you really have to go? (Azreenu laughs)
AZREENU :it is my Father, i must answer... Hey, iam your guardian, iam always with you(cassiel nods and hugs Azreenu)
CASSIEL :you say me hi to ezekiel.
AZREENU :i will..(he takes to the sky, far into to clouds and vanishes. Pete and cleo walks to cassiel)
CLEO :wish i could be as close as that to my guardian...
CASSIEL :he was a father to me all my child hood.. We deserve to be this close.
PETE :so cassiel... What's it gonna be?
CASSIEL :i lost my parents the day i was born, i guess..... I need all the family i can get now (Pete and cleo smiles happily)
PETE :i'll take that as a yes....
CASSIEL :yes... Its a yes.
CLEO :welcome to the city of angels (they begin to walk back to the school)
PETE :cant wait to show you every were, it's so cool out here..
