Quinn's POV
"Beep! Beep! Beep!" I woke up from the sound of my alarm. I am a junior and I'm 16 , It was my first day at Slider high School. I have to admit, I am nervous. I moved to New Jersey in the middle of the school year because my mom had a better job offer here. I am an only child. I moved from Florida with only my mom. My dad passed away when I was 5 from a car accident, but i don't like to talk about that.
I slowly got out of bed and got my clothes ready. I hopped in the shower and did my routine. i lightly curled my hair and put some make up on. When I was done getting ready, I went downstairs to the kitchen to get a snack before heading out. As i got to my kitchen I saw a note on the table. It must be from my mom.

Im sorry I couldn't be here for your first day. I had a meeting at work. Good luck!! Make new friends honey. love you.

I read the note out loud and placed it back on the table. i quickly grabbed a snack and grabbed my bag and keys and walked out the to driveway. I got in my car and drove to my new school.
A few minutes later I pulled up to the school and saw a bunch of kids either making out or fooling around with each other. As I put my car in park and was about to get out a hear a thud like noise hit my car. I got out and saw it was a boy on a skate board. He was kinda cute.
