A Thug's Lover . (Part 1)

Jas (16 years old) POV

"It ain't never shit to eat in this house!" . I get tired of my mama not cooking or buying groceries . She don't have a job so when dad give her money for food, the least she can do is go buy groceries.

"Yeah I'm hungry too," my little sister Aniya whined. I have two little sisters. Aniya is one and she's 8 years old, and my other sister named Deja is 13 years old. 

"If you hungry go buy your own damn food," my mom Annette (Ann) yelled coming down the stairs.  "Well you are the parent , you should act more like one," I shot back at her. I seen she was about to respond so I grabbed my purse and left.

I was in my new Mercedes, on my way to my boyfriend Jerome (Jr)(17) house , when I seen my BestFriend Kayla(16) walking down the street. "Kayla!" I yelled towards her. She didn't turn around so I bumped the horn. She turned around smiling and hopped in the car.

"A new ride huh , I like it" She said. "yeah girl you know I have to start providing for myself cause you know my mama not gone do it" I responded. "things will get better" she said . I just rolled my eyes. I hope my mother do realize she's hurting her children emotionally , and she need to get herself together.

"so where you headed to?" she asked. I sighed and told her Jr's house. She just shook her head. Kayla don't want me to be with Jr. He puts his hands on me sometimes. Sometimes when he drunk , and other times when we argue. I just can't find myself to leave him. We've been together since I was in the 6th grade. I'm in love with Jr. My parents doesn't know about him abusing me, but sometimes Kayla threathens to tell them. 

"I know Kayla , I just love him and you know it." I told her. "Lets not start this stupid ass conversation?" She said. "Fine" I responded. We sat quiet just driving until she finally broke the silence. "I can't wait until school start back" I just gave her a blank look. Who wants to go to school. We only been on summer break for about a month now, and have about a month left.

"And why is that Kayla?" It have to be something good happening this year. "Well we are turning juniors and I heard a lot of dreadheads and basketball players are transferring from Epson High because their school burned down.". She said smiling. I knew she was up to something. I know my BestFriend and I know she hates school. 

"Well no need for me to care , I got my star basketball player." I said with a big smile.Jr is the starting point guard of the basketball team. He's been on varsity since freshman year. She Just rolled her eyes. "Yeah , and he got you and plenty more" she said. Before I can respond she told me to drop her off at home. 

After taking Kayla home , I went to Jr house. When I got there I didn't see his car. I started to leave , but I knocked anyway. Some chick with a stank attitude answered . Right there was when I got irritated. 

"Who you looking for" she asked. "My boyfriend , who tf is you" I shot back at her. She was a thick , pretty , foreign , lightskinned girl. "Aye who girl is this at the door" she yelled to the living room. That's when I pushed through the door and went to the living room snapping. 

all I smelled was loud when I approached the room , and I seen Jr and his guy bagging weed and counting money. "Who tf is that bitch answering doors around here" I yelled Pissed off. "That's one of our undercover chicks . She gone be holding nd helping deliver our stuff" Dee(18) , Jr BestFriend said. "Well put her ass in her place and let her know who tf I am and what do you mean ONE of them" I said. I was mad as Hell.

"Her and her friend helping us out." he said. "where she at , cause I'm sure she gone need to be put in her place too" I said. "she grabbed the car and went to pick us up some food , wassup man why you tripping " he said. That's why Jr car not here huh? That's gone make me look bad. These nosey Mfs in SouthBeach gone be thinking he got a new chick.
