Sydney's P.O.V

*RRRRRRIIIINNGGG

Finally, I can get out of this prison. Thank god it's spring break 2014 or else I don't even know what I would be doing right now. I can't be stuck in Ohio much longer.

Oh yeah, let me introduce myself. My name's Sydney Grace Myers, I'm 18 and a senior in high school. I'm 5' 3" which means I'm REALLY REALLY SHORT! I have bright green eyes and I have thick dirty blonde hair that goes past the middle of my back... I get it from my mom though.. I have 1 sister name Madison and she is 20. I live in Ohio in the smallest town you'll ever see called LaGrange. I honestly think everyone is related in LaGrange....

Anyways, I walk to my locker and see Haley, Valeri (Val), and Nikki there already.

"Jeez girls, you got here quick!" I said.

"Well ya, it's spring break, I WANT TO GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!" Nikki screamed.. Nikki's a very, very, VERY loud person. With her bleach blonde hair and crazy personality, you'll never miss her when you are around her.

"Hey Haley, where's Cole?" I questioned Haley, refering to her boyfriend, Cole. They are seriously the cutest couple you will ever see. Cole's a redhead and Haley's has really blond hair. I remember when they started dating in 7th grade and now we're seniors.... In 8th grade, Cole and his family moved to Colorado for some reason but moved back and surprised Haley on her birthday the next year. It seriously was the cutest thing ever. But they are closer than ever now.

"Ummm, he had to leave early, not sure why though..." Aw, she sounded depressed. Poor Haley.,.

"Ya, she was whining ALL LAST PERIOD! IT WAS SO ANNOYING!" Val said. Val and I have always been friends. She was flipping gorgeous, athletic, and hilarious then there's me, bleh. It's always been like that...

We all laughed and Haley started whining again while we were walking to my car. On our way there, we bump into Zack, Dustin, Jared, and Nate. Let me introduce them... Zack, Jared, and Nate are all my best guy friends. Dustin though.... is my ex.. We started dating freshman year and I really did love him but we broke up about 3 months ago... It was like we started growing apart then I found out he kept lying to me about something, I found out he was cheating on me, and we got in a huge fight. I can still remember that day.

Flashback

"Hey babe!" Dustin smiled at me as I got to his house, ahh why does he still have this effect on me. We've been dating for 4 years.

"Hii!" I smiled back as he came up to me and kissed me, I honestly love him so much. We both sat down on the couch and I layed across his chest looking up at him.

"So, do you wanna order pizza?" He asked. I replied saying yes and he said he'll go call them so I gave him my phone because his was dead and he left the room. Me, being the amazing girlfriend I am, put Dustins phone on the charger. Right when I turned it on, he got a message from... Lexi? It's kind of hard not to read the message because it automatically showed up on the screen so I read it. He shouldn't have anything to hide so this isn't wrong, right? The message said:

Lexi - See you tomorrow Dusty ;)

WHAT THE HELL?!?! Dustin said he couldn't hang out with me tomorrow because he had "family business"... I decided to ask him when he gets back.

"Hey Syd, it will come it 20 minu - are you okay?!?" He looked at me, probably because I looked how I felt. Confused, devestated, and shocked. Why did he lie to me?

"Umm ya, but umm-uh who is Lexi and why are you hanging out tomorrow?" I asked, scared of the answer.

"L-Lexi? Oh she's a.. umm family friend and we're not hanging out tomorrow.."

"Oh really? Well it seems like she thinks you are." I showed him the message, he looked a little scared. "Dustin, tell me the truth. What are you doing tomorrow."

"I'm seeing, umm my f-family." He looked kind of, guilty? What?

"I can tell your lying, Dustin!" I screamed.

He started screaming even louder, "YOU THINK I'M HANGING OUT WITH LEXI?!?! DO YOU NOT TRUST ME!?!"

"I HONESTLY DON'T KNOW RIGHT NOW, DUSTIN!" We were both fuming.. We both started screaming back and forth for about 2 minutes until he confessed.

"OKAY, I AM HANGING OUT WITH LEXI! SHE'S HOT AND I CAN'T BELIEVE I WASTED THE LAST 4 YEARS WITH YOU!" Um, ouch that hurt, a lot. I could feel the tears forming in my eyes. Was I just a joke or something? I got all quiet after that and he looked sorry.

"Well I guess we should break up then. You obviously want to.." I could already feel the tears down my face. I can't believe we're breaking up. I honestly thought he was the one. Does anyone ever get the feeling that their heart is being ripped out of their chest? No? Well... it hurts, bad.

"No, Sydney please no. I didn't mean it.." He looked like he was about to cry also.

"THEN WHY DID YOU SAY IT!?!" I screamed trying to calm down. "It's done Dustin. I'm sorry for wasting your time." I walked outside and got into my car. I could hear him screaming and crying. That only made me break even more. I calmed down and drove back to my house, trying not to cry. I texted Haley, Nikki, and Val telling them all to come over right now. I ran into my room and started bawling my eyes out.

I lost the only guy I've ever loved.

It was hard on both of us. Everytime I see him I want to cry. When the news got around school that we broke up, everyone was shocked, even some teachers... I'm still trying to move on but it's hard.

"Hey Syd," Zack said.. He has always liked me ever since 7th grade. I try to be nice to him but I feel bad for rejecting him all the time...

"Hi Zack," I smiled at him. I tried to not look at Dustin but I couldn't help it. He was looking at me and right when we locked eyes I looked away. Everytime we are around eachother, it's so awkward.

"Hi guys!" Haley looked at all the guys. "What's up?"

Nate answered saying, "Nothin' much. We're all going to Key West for spring break. Where are you going?" "Same" Nikki answered.

"We should hang together down there!' Jared said. Please say no, please say noo... "Sure!' Val said... SHIT!

"Oh well, we have to go, bye guys!" I said walking away not looking back.

Well that was awkward.

When we got to my house, we started packing my stuff because I wasn't sure what to bring..

"Syd, grab your high waisted shorts!" Val said while reading a magazine. "So... how are you taking the break up?" I sighed Oh how I hated that word. They all looked at me sympathetically.

"Umm fine... It's just hard because I see him every other period.. Anyways I need help packing PLEEEAASSSEEE" I tried to changed the subject they all just looked at me one more time and sighed. Then they started packing. When we were done, Nikki was reading a magazine and started screaming.

"NIKKI SHUT UP! GOD!" Haley yelled but that didn't make Nikki stop.

"ONE DIRECTION IS GOING TO BE IN KEY WEST THE SAME TIME WE ARE ASJHDLAKS!!!" When Nikki said that, Val started screaming too.

Well this vacation will be fun..
