MCS University ( Sophomore year )

Saturday afternoon.

After fixing their things in their dorm room, Jin and her friends went straight to the Camera club's meeting place. They like to meet under the old mango tree, near an old playground, at the back of the university. The club owns a room just like the other clubs but it's still locked at the moment.

Jin hates being late and most of all waiting for late people! Good thing she's with her best friends. She will not be the only one with her bottom aching because of sitting on those cemented chairs.

Camera club was just founded last year, when they were still a freshmen. The club is not popular not only because of their odd interests but also because the admin doesn't give them much attention and support. And it is now threatened to be removed among the university clubs, this is why Mike, the club president, called for a meeting.

"Where are they?" Anne asked, the youngest and the weirdest member of the group. She always wear big corrective eyeglasses in different shapes depending on her mood.

"Elle and Lin are still fixing their things. I'm still texting the others." Marie answered, known as "Miss kind" whom everyone likes. She's a simple girl but loves gadgets.

"They're 15 minutes late!" Jin complained while fanning herself at the same time.

"Just relax, they'll come for sure." Iah said without taking her eyes of the horror book she's reading. Iah is fondly called "ate" or older sister by her friends not because she's older than them but because of how mature she thinks at her age.

Shortly later the other members arrived except for Elle and Lin.

"Haizt! They're late and for sure it's because of Elle again." Ley, the artist in the group, commented. There's no art contest that he joined and didn't win.

"Let's just start. We all know that the club is threatened to-" Mike was suddenly interrupted when their late members appeared behind him.

"Hi, guys! Sorry we're late" Elle fondly greeted the group while Lin, frowning, sat beside Anne. Elle is known for being intelligent and kind but she's more known in being late. She always forgets where she left her things. She'll remember the whole book she read than remembering where she placed her pencil.

"Why are you late?" Anne whispered.

"What else? She misplaced the key to our room!"

"That's enough." Mike continued. "As I was saying, we all know that the club might be removed by the admin. We are all here to think of how we can prevent this from happening. Any of you have suggestions or opinions?"

"I think, we need to stop." Mau, the "Walking Calculator", top of the class and Elle and Lin's best friend, expresses his opinion. "First, we're still minors. Second, no one wants to handle us because of what happened last year. And third, the admin got their eyes on us."

"I agree." Elle nodding. "Why can't we just be the camera club like we used to?"

"That's because we still have no proofs that we could show them." Mike emphasized. "We all have reasons why we formed the club and why we are still doing this. Let's give it another shot, guys."

"Mike is right." Aris agreed. He is the silent type of guy but when he speaks you better listen. He's the captain of the Debate team and the kind of man who is full of virtue. "Yes, we already sacrificed a lot of things but you must also remember those people who sacrificed their lives for us."
