Your Point of View

You couldn't believe you were about to do this.

The wind whipped your hair forwards as the train moved. You thought about the money that went down the drain in buying the ticket. The seven hours you spent on the train also seemed to be a waste, but you got to meet Priscilla. That was a positive.

As you stood at the railing at the caboose of the train, you thanked Shira for giving you the option of going up to visit later. You were really questioning your earlier decision with Priscilla as you hefted your bag onto your shoulder and stared at the sea of sand before your eyes.

You and Priscilla had talked about your situation with Soul. She listened kindly and took note of your facial expressions and the inflection of your voice. Nodding along with your words every so often. When you had finished, you both sat for a bit as she thought.

She asked if you ever found out why he had the change of heart. You did not. She clicked her tongue and teasingly called you an impulsive person. She said that from what she gathered, he probably felt similar to you, and pointed out little details in the things he said or did that you mentioned. Priscilla said that while a pushing you away was wrong of him, it was probable that it was not out of dislike.

"Either way," Priscilla said, "do you want to live your life without giving it a shot?" This made something click in your head.

"So I should go back and tell him?" You asked. She nodded her head at you.

You stood up, feeling a new wave of confidence. Beside you, Priscilla grew concerned at what was about to come from the flame in your eyes. You marched over to your belongings and picked them up, going into the next cabin to get a few more supplies. Confused, Priscilla widened her eyes as she pieced together what you were about to do.

You stormed back into the cabin with a full bag and gave a firm thank you to Priscilla, and marched to the next cabin going to the back of the train. Before she could tell you that she meant you should wait until the next stop and ride a train back, you had thrown open the door and did not look twice before continuing.

One of your hands gripped the railing tightly as you pondered how you should go about getting off this train. Your brows furrowed further, determined to follow through with this plan. You tested the weight of your bag and decided that it would be better not to think about it, and instead just do it.

So you did. You lowered the bag as much as you could before releasing, so the contents might not be severely damaged. Not long after at all, you followed the bag, hoisting yourself over and rolling in the sand from the speed. You picked yourself off and stumbled towards your bag.

Soul's Point of View

Liz was keeping her lips sealed, but Soul noticed that Patty seemed like she was about to explode. He found his target.

"Patty," Soul began, "how about I take you to the zoo next week, will you tell me where Y/n went?" The boy was getting a bit desperate at this point, but he would hold his end of the bargain. It would be uncool if he didn't.

"Ohh!" Patty squealed, conflict rising in her eyes. She didn't want to say it, but Soul promising to take her to a zoo was very appealing. Plus, she knew the two of you liked each other, it would be a good thing for both of you to finally get together. Y/n is cute, but so are the animals.

Liz could see her sister's decision clear as day. Her eyes widened and she opened her mouth to stop Patty, but Patty was louder.

"Y/n is going to Shira by taking the train!" Patty blurted. Liz sighed and looked up at the grinning boy. She knew it would be good for them both as well, but she was worried that you might not be ready for it.
