Chapter 19

Nina stayed home for three more weeks to heal her wound and during her resting period Aria brought home her school work, and a couple of get well cards. Nina and her father went to her regular checkups that Dr. Paige had ordered with her resting period. After Sunday morning of the third week of her visited to Dr. Paige, the doctor declared Nina to be able to attend school again and get back to her normal life. Nina felt excited and nervous at the same time, but she was afraid that everything and everyone had changed because she'd miss more than a month of school. On the way home they dropped by Dollarmara and picked up some school supplies for the next day.

​The next day when Nina got to school, she was upset and angry because she had the same nightmare again and she hadn't slept well. As her day went by she felt worst, what she was afraid of became her reality as everyone and everything had change in a small amount of time. In three classes that Nina was in Aria, Lina, Jade, Christina and Kate wasn't in that class. She had friends that were more like classmates than friends but that was before the accident, now it was like she was an outsider. At first when she came to her class everyone greeted her and asked what had happen to her. "Everyone was worried about me; maybe I was just over thinking it. Nothing will not change," Nina thought as she sat in her desk. Once the class started, she began to feel like an outsider, as everyone in her class talked about Missy's party and Stratford. Her grade twelve class went on a trip to Stratford for the Shakespeare festival, and the students stayed in Stratford overnight for three days and two nights. When Nina was in the hospital, she made Aria go to Stratford without her while River, Andrew and her dad took care of her, when she came back home from her trip Aria promise herself that she wouldn't talk about her time there.

"So you and I could go to Eaton and checkout the new Disney Store on Wednesday night" Nina said as she cuddled with Aria's Big Bang Body pillow, Monday Night.

​"Yeah sure, I wanna check it out. I heard that it's smaller than the original old store." Aria replied as she lay on her copper red queen size bed.

​"Really... I remember we used to go there all the time sitting on the plushies because it was so comfortable."

​Something caught Nina eyes as she placed her phone on the desk. She picked up the mustard yellow paper and read it, there was a little note about a three day trip to Stratford for the Shakespeare festival she heard in the beginning of the year. "So Aria, I wonder when our grade is going to that Stratford trip, I've been so busy with my personal stuff that I totally forgot about it... Do know if Mrs. Bennett set the date, yet?" She asked Aria.

​"Umm... No, I don't think so? I haven't heard anything yet."

​"Oh really... But I read somewhere on Facebook that it this week, I think Wednesday."

​"Really... Oh maybe it is, I didn't know and anyways I'm not going."

​"Why not? We've been planning for this since the beginning of the school year."

​"I know we have but that's it, we meaning the two of us, not just me. Which you aren't able to go."

​"But you have to go, please for me. I don't want to hold you back on traveling; you could make memories for me and take a lot of pictures. It will be like I was actually there and you could record videos too. Please go."

​"But it won't be the same without you there."

​"I know it won't but I won't need you guys for now because I have my dad and River."

​"Ouch that hurts you know."

​"Well it's true I don't need you right now because I will be at home resting, and we could do the Disney store another day when you get back... Seriously go" said Nina when Aria made a sad face.
