The way I wish it was

Chapter 1

The alarm goes off, so I climb down the ladder to grab my favourite outfit that I left on my desk for today. Today was not any ordinarily day, it was school photo day and after that basketball tryouts, my friend Kendra and I were running it with help from our care teacher miss Moore, she is the best teacher ever not because she lets us eat and use our phones in class but because she is an artist and she gets us to do our work in drawings. The basketball comp is between schools run by students and a teacher, but the two students are the coaches and the teacher is just there to help run it. There is a team for each junior grades  (7,8,9).

I had to hurry up because I had to leave early to pick up Aimmie because we were going to get breakfast and meeting up with her boyfriend before school. I finish packing my bag and ran downstairs to give my mum and nan a kiss goodbye, then I rush out the door and start my engine and take off. I had to make a quick stop at the bank to get some money out for the trip to New Zealand my friends and i are having next winter. I quickly pick up Aimmie and we had to McDonald's, Aimmie's boyfriend is already there waiting to give Aimmie a flower that he freshly picked from his mother's garden. As we got to school I found Kendra and Shakayla already waiting for us at the front gate, we head to our spot, Kendra and I grab our basketballs and start making a few baskets and making ideas for the trails. I pretty much believe that our spot is the best because it is underneath the shade of a tree, it's right next to the bubblers and the toilets are just across the court so we don't have to walk very far.

Aimmie and I were waiting in line for our photos to be taken, that's when I saw the new kid who just came to our school he was so cute, Aimmie and I went crazy because he was in our class. As he walk to the teacher he looked at us and waved, I smiled and waved back, I was hoping he wouldn't see my rosy red cheeks and he didn't but he talk to the teacher and walked to his spot which was behind us. Aimmie asked if he was trailing for basketball and mention I was the coach, he nodded his head as soon as he heard my name. That's when Kendra came and saw the new kid, she introduced herself and asked him to come sit with us, Kendra winked at me so I punched her in the leg. As soon as we got back to our classroom the bell went and we showed the new kid to our spot, him and Aimmie's boyfriend talk all break.

Kendra grab the list for the grades, there was a boy and a girl team for each grade. Miss Moore got here after a few students so we gave her the role for year 9s, then we spilt them into 2 different groups and got them to do layups and rebounds. The trails lasted all day so we could decide who made it and who didn't, only 10 people can make a team and there was more than 25 for each grade. We decided to do two teams for each grade.
