*Imagine you guys are like 16-18-year-olds lol*

You've recently just broken up with your boyfriend, Ethan Karpathy because he cheated on you. But not just that, you've started developing feelings for his best friend, Jakob Delgado. Today is New Year's Eve and Jakob is hosting a new year's eve party at his house because his parents are on a business trip and his sister Mikaila is at her friend's house. This is your chance to just have fun and let go.

Your best friend Riley is at your house helping you choose your clothes and put on your makeup. You've never really been good at makeup so you let her do it. Riley drives to Jakob's house and knocks on the door. A very hot looking Jakob Delgado answers it.

" Oh hey Kailea and Riley, come on in. " Jake says eyeing you up and down. Riley raises her eyebrows at you but you just chuckle. Riley enters the house with you following right behind her. A few hours have past and there are at least five minutes until the countdown. Almost everyone around you is drunk, loud music blares throughout the house and the smell of throw up lingers in the air. You try your best to stay sober because you're driving Riley back to your house afterwards. Currently, she's in the corner making out with her boyfriend Chris Lanzon, but you don't mind it at all.

You walk towards the kitchen to get a drink. You decide that you've had enough drinks tonight so you just grab a bottle of water. Then you suddenly hear the countdown. You walk up the stairs hoping over the people who have passed out on the floor. 10 You open the Balcony door, 9 the cold breeze blows in your face. 8 you watch the stars and just smile. 7 then you hear the balcony door open to see jakob standing at the door. 6 " I've wanted to do this since forever Kailea" Jakob says staring into your eyes.

5 " what are you talking about jake? " you ask questioningly.

4 " i'm talking about this " 3 Jakob takes a step towards you. 2 and then another step. 1 until he finally places his soft lips onto yours. huge fireworks explode in your stomach. he pulls away smiling at you.

" kailea, will you be my girlfriend? " Jakob asks. You don't answer but just kiss him again.

" i'll take that as a yes then? " he smiles.

" yes of course delgado, i'll be your girlfriend " you chuckle.

" Happy New Year Kailea "

" Happy Birthday Jakob "
