Hershal demanded alone time with Daryl to make sure his memory was good and he was okay. In the mean time Glenn and Maggie went for a run for some medication. Which, again, left me with nothing to do. I climbed a tree to pick some apples from the highest peak of the tree beside me. I threw them down to Elise who set them in a basket. I heard a growl then an ear-splitting scream that made me fall out of the tree and hit the ground with a sickening crunch. A walker had Elise pinned to the tree. I took out my knife but the walker began to notice me. I aimed for the head but it came right at me. It took me down and the knife flew into the air. Elise caught it, being careful about the blade.
"Get it!" I shouted.
She fell forwards, on top of the walker. It tried to bite her as it held me to the ground. It threw her off with ease and turned back to me. It was then that Elise stuck the knife into the side of it's head, causing it's blood to leak onto my bare skin. Elise pushed the body off of me and helped me up, while at the same time, pulling me into a hug.
"I was so scared." She said breathlessly into my ear.
It was then that Lori, Carl, Jordan, Luke and Beth rushed over.
"What happened?" Asked Lori who was now out of breathe.
"A walker came at us. No big deal," I said.
"Well thank god you two are alright," Said Lori, catching her breathe.
"Come on, Elise, let's go look for bites or scratches." Jordan said.
"You go along too, okay?" Lori told Carl.
He nodded and went into the house with Jordan, Luke and Elise. Lori put an arm against the tree for support as she finally caught her breathe.
"Hi," Lori said.
"Hi," I replied.
Then Glenn and Maggie returned. For some reason, Glenn came directly at us. He noticed me, gave Lori something, then walked away. Lori shoved a sort of package into her back pocket, and looked at me with fear in her eyes. As she put it in the pocket, I saw the outline of something... Something oddly familiar.
"Your pregnant!" I gasped.
"We dont know that yet." Lori hissed.
"Does Rick know? What about Carl?" I asked.
"Please, don't tell either. I'm begging you." Lori pleaded.
"You haven't told them?" I said in a hoarse whisper.
Lori shook her head regrettably.
"Please tell me after you find out. I want to know," I said.
"Of course, but please, be real discreet about this. I want to be the one to tell Rick," Lori told me.
"What else was in that package?" I ask, remembering an odd square outline, almost like a gun package.
"A-a-abortion pills." Lori regretted each word.
"If you find out your pregnant, please dont make that decision on your own. Tell Rick." I said.
Lori nodded lightly and walked away. I saw nervousness in her eyes. Night had finally came. Lori entered the field. I just went into my tent and slept with Elise in my arms.
