We get there at about six. We all walk out and stretch and I see Marcus starting to help the guys that work at the festival to get everything out of the bus. A girl come and give the lads backstage passes, but she looks at me with a weird look. "Er... I don't have anything for you... Who are you?"

"Oh, it's cool she's with us" Danny says. "You mind getting her a pass too?"

"I guess I could get her one of the impersonal ones, I'll get right back."

"Great, thanks."

We wait around for a little bit and right after she comes back with my pass we decide to go search for someplace to eat and check out the main stage. We find a tent with hamburgers and take a seat. We all joke around and I get to know everyone better. They are actually really nice, and it's not as weird as I thought it would be; a little girl like me hanging out with full grown men, but they're easy to talk to and funny. They're always playing little pranks on each other and kind of nag on each other, like siblings. Even though we are backstage I don't see any celebs that I recognize, but then again I really suck at that, if it isn't someone that's really hyped at the moment or someone that I'm really into. The spring weather is really warm and even though the grass is in this brown/yellow colour still, the sky is starting to get pink and yellow as the sun sets. Then we walk around a little bit, just feeling the place. We get to the main stage and check out the band that's playing. Danny, Mark and Glen are always talking about how awesome it is going to be, and that the crowd seems really good.

As it gets darker more people get to the stage and you can literally feel the place boil. We get backstage to start getting ready to the show. I will be standing on the side, watching, but right now everyone is there with me, waiting to go on stage. The whole thing is so cool. You see all of these different people, some young women with blue hair and high heels, and some older men with black band t-shirts and big bellies. But everyone work together, like ants. They know what's going on on the stage and everyone is making their best to make a good show. And all of this for the people watching, music lover, just like me. It's so amazing that so many people get together over their passion for music and you just feel like you have something in common with everyone. I just walk around in this crazyness, loving every second. Paramore is playing Still into you on the stage and the music is blasting out of the speakers. I dance along a little and just have a great time. I see Danny with a big smile on his face, just digging to the music. You can really see that all of this makes him happy and he is so at home in the middle of wires and big black boxes. It's not only us digging along to the music though, almost no one can stand still. Mark, Danny and Glen is plugging in their in-ears, jumping up and down, getting on their toes and hyping each other to the max. Rodney and Ben are also there, jumping, getting exited. Suddenly all I hear is "The Script!" Glen walks on stage, followed by Rodney and Ben. The noise is insane, but I really do get why this is so addicting. It's like it's not only noise but also the energy of thousands of people coming at you. I can just imagine the feeling when you're actually on the stage. A beat starts and it is growing slowly, Mark walking on stage and adding his guitar as the noise gets louder. Danny walks on as the beat breaks and starts waving. "Come on, come on, come on, yes! Up in the bar all smoking cigars, when we where drinking Irish whiskey straight from the jar. Talking 'bout the better days are not that far, whoever's coming back to mind you better bring the guitar!" I get a glimpse of the crowd and the front row is just freaking out, jumping up and down, crying, singing along. Danny is dancing around on the stage, as well as Mark, and I really enjoy watching them.

I end up loving basically every single song. Of course I know 'Breakeven' and 'Man who can't be moved' and I sing along with them. When they do 'If you could see me now' I get a little flashback to the hotel room a couple of days ago, and I suddenly get so thankful. That they actually do this for me. Do the trouble and let me hang out with them. And it's not like they have the easiest job either.

They get off stage, all sweaty, but with the biggest of smiles on their faces.

"Oh, that was amazing. Wow, festival crowds, they're unbelievable!"

"Yeah, haha did you see that sign, oh God we gotta look for that in the picture later."

They chat back and forth. "What did you think, are we a huge disappointment?" Danny asks me with a smile as the other guys get some water and tweet about the performance.

"Yeah, I mean you dragged me all this way, couldn't you at least have done a stage dive?" I ask with a fake grumpiness.

"Yeah, I'm sorry, you're right, I bet the front row would have liked that." he says, playing along.

I laugh. "No, but seriously, you guys where great. And so now what?"

"We're just going to change and reload with some energy and then we where going to check out some bands, if that sound good? And then we got the after party of course."

"Sounds great."

We walk back to the bus and I stay outside as they change. Then we walk back to the stage and stand so that we can see the next band preforming.

"You know, this band actually supported us." Mark says.

"Really?"

"Yeah, such nice lads. They, haha, guys remember that time when they pranked us by walking up on stage dressed like super Mario during, what was it... Dead man walking? I think so."

"They did what?" I laugh. "That's crazy! But I hope you got your revenge?"

"Of course we did." Danny says and giggle. I don't think I should ask more.

The sun is going down and then there's dark. In some way that only makes me love the stage area even more. It's so beautiful with all of the lights and the people have their phones that they wave in the air so that the entire crowd looks like a sea of stars. During a rock ballad I even spot some lighters. I'm just sucking up the atmosphere. I feel more at home here than I have in a long time. With all of these happy people, just celebrating, and the music constantly playing in the background.

We get backstage to one of the tents where there's music playing. A DJ is playing and we get to the bar. All of the guys order a beer, and I'm not sure how but suddenly there's a diet coke in front of me. I look up and see Danny smile.

"You don't even need to pretend you're not eighteen. Or twenty-one like it is here."

I don't really mind the coke to be honest. Alcohol have never interested me much.

The lads talk to people they see, and they include me in the conversation since I don't really know anyone. Other than that I just enjoy my self by listening to the music and I do some people watching. I see Ellie Goulding and Ed Sheeran, but there where probably a lot more famous people there that I just didn't recognize. Also it's quite a big tent with a lot of people. I dance a little and have a good time.

We get back to the bus sometime around two and I get to sleep in one of the beds since not all of the members of the crew came to the festival. When I lie there in a pair of Danny's clean sweatpants and Glens t-shirt, I take a deep breath. This is so wonderful. I'm tired and happy. Today was the weirdest day, but also the best. I got a pair of new parents and ditched them in the same day, and I was also backstage at a music festival and danced next to famous singers and band members. And now I'm going to go to sleep in a tour bus that contain the sweetest and nicest guys on the earth. As I enjoy the silence after a day full of noise, I fall asleep.
