"It's just a phase, all teenagers go through it." You told her when she was breaking down and told you she was depressed and suicidal.
You told her she was anorexic when she was complaining about being hungry at the mall, and you knew the fact that she didn't eat much.
"You'd look prettier with makeup." You told her, despite knowing the fact she hates makeup
"I'll take you to Victoria's Secret and get you some bras." You told her, despite knowing that she hates VS and flashy bras.
"Your singing sounds awful." You told her, despite knowing that singing was one of her favorite things to do.
"Oh you're fine.." You told her when she said it was getting harder to see and every time she felt sick.
Do you not see the damage you're causing her?
What you've told her about her depression "phase" didn't help her at all. She looks at all her friends and wondering where it all went, the happiness and joy and love.
When you called her anorexic, told her she should wear makeup, it only led her to hating herself even more.
When you told her she sounds bad when singing, did you notice how she's not singing around you anymore?
She's slowly losing her eyesight, not being able to see words more than 4 feet in front of her, but you don't listen.
You're destroying her.
She's no longer as happy as she was when she was younger.
All those things you've said, they're hurting her
What you've told her, destroyed her.
