Chp. 9

Alena POV
Me and Liz had 5 classes together which was great considering we are so much closer now. Lunch time had begin to roll around and since we are Juniors we can leave off of campus to go get something to eat,but we have to be back in time for our next class.
"My car or your car"I asked Liz.
"Your car"she said.
Hoping into my car, we buckled up and decided that we wanted to to go to Starbucks. While on the way there Chris Browns new song Grass Ain't Greener started playing on the radio and we started to sing. Liz can really sing her ass off and I'm really happy she feel comfortable around me to do it.
Getting into Starbucks was refreshing especially because of the AC.
"Hey welcome to Starbucks would you like it here or to go"the waitress asked.
"Here." I answered.
After ordering us an old fashioned grilled cheese sandwich w/ a vanilla bean latte we took a seat in the booth.
"So what happened the night my brother took you home." Liz said.
"I mean nothing really we just got to know each other better that's all" I answered.
"Umhm"she replied smirking.
I don't know but I kind of like Messiah but I think it'll be disrespectful because Liz is my friend and Messiah is her brother AND we just started talking. While Liz and I were talking about random things I felt a presence behind me.
"Well well well what are y'all doing here" the familiar voice asked.
"Messiah why everywhere I go your ass always show up" Liz said.
" (laughing) don't make me tell momma that you're cursing Paris Elizabeth, hey Alena!" Messiah said.
"Hi Messiah" I replied.
"So can I get your number" he asked.
"Sure"I said.
After giving Messiah my number it was time for us to go because 5th period will be starting in another 10 minutes.
" I know you probably think it will be disrespectful to talk to my brother since we are friends and we just started talking like 2 months ago but go for it, don't let you thoughts drag you down" Liz said.
" Aww thanks Liz and right now I just want a guy friend because already have my bestie right beside me"I said.
After hugging we walked inside the school and headed to our 5th period class. Before class started I checked my phone and noticed I had two messages, one from my sister and one from and unknown number.
Sister- don't forget that we are having dinner on tomorrow night so make sure you tell your friend and invite her family.
Unknown- hey this Messiah save my number and don't be a stranger.
After replying to both of them and saving Messiahs number the teacher walked in and that was my clue that it was time for us to start class.
