SECOND PERSON

It was finally Monday, your most hated day.

I mean who wouldn't hate Mondays?

During break time, you headed to the Staff room to get an application paper for volleyball. After filling it up you gave it to Nobuteru san the volleyball coach who smiled in response and advised you to go the gym after classes so he can introduce you to the male's volleyball team.

You then went to your classroom to wait for your teacher and noticed that Oikawa and Iwaizumi was not present. 

They're probably still changing out of volleyball practice. You  thought and scrolled through your phone.

Sighing out loud in your seat, you headed to the rooftop -lunch box in hand- half expecting that the two volleyball players were there and luckily they were.

"Y/n chan! Come sit beside me!" Oikawa beamed as you sat next to Oikawa under the shade with them.

"I didn't see you guys this morning." you noted while unwrapping your lunch, "We had morning practice." Iwaizumi said and took a chopstick full of his food.

"I knew it."

"Y/n chan I've got to tell you something and what happened to your face?" Oikawa quirked an eyebrow as he examined your face.

"I wrestled with a cat." You lied as you took in food to you mouth, "What were you gonna tell me?"

Iwaizumi raised an eyebrow in question but you didn't seem to notice, "We came across a few beat up high school students on the road last Friday!" Oikawa exclaimed making you choke on your food.

"*cough* water! *cough* *cough*"

"Here." Oikawa handed you a water bottle in which you immediately took and drank almost all of its content. In return a smug look appeared on his face.

Both boys watched as you calmed down and inhaled air.

"We had in-directional kiss Y/n chan, next time I want the directional one." the smug brunette stated  and you looked at him with a deep blush.

"W-What?"

"—v—"

"Trashykawa!" Iwaizumi slapped the back of his head making the said teen whine in pain, "OUCHH!"

After calming sometime you asked him again about the topic he said previously before the kiss.

"They were beaten so badly and I saw three cracked bats with blood on them. Right Iwa chan?" Oikawa described and looked at his best friend for confirmation, "Yeah, there was no lead to who did it."

"Most of them had 2-3 broken ribs, and mild fracture in their arms or legs." Iwaizumi added as he scrunched his nose thinking how painful it must have felt.

"It was so harsh and must've been really painful." Oikawa commented and you looked down, "That's just sad to hear."

You were debating whether to tell them but they won't believe you either way so you just shut your mouth.

Instead you decided to change the subject.

"I signed up for manager this morning." you absentmindedly said and the both looked at you with shock.

"Really??"

"Really Y/n chan?!"

"Yep."

"Do you have knowledge about volleyball?" Iwaizumi asked, "I read a book about volleyball when I was a kid and it's still fresh in my mind." you noted as their jaws dropped.
