"Is there a reason that you asked Ci if she was going out tonight?" Durk asked as he blew smoke from his nose. I stared at my beautiful little girl who was sleeping on my chest. "Ima take Kay Kay over my moms house tonight, then ima track Ci phone and ima hit up the club and see who this nigga is who tryna push up on my baby momma." I replied. I know that right now in being childish but Cheryse L'Nae Carter will be mines once again.
After a few more minutes in the studio, i picked up kayden and carried her into my blue and black charger. I put kayden in her pink and purple carseat and made sure she was strapped in good. I hopped in and turned the radio down and pulled my phone out to call my moms. " Hello." she said on the third ring. " momma what you doing?" i asked as i turned a corner to my block. "nothing boy, why?" she asked. I heard Kay Kay wake up from her long nap. " can you please watch Kayden for me for a few hours?" i asked as i took kayden out her carseat and walked up the steps to my house. i heard her take a long sigh before she answered my question. " baby i told you i would watch her whenever but it seems like whenever you get her, i end up watching her the whole time. what are you doing that is more important than your child?" she asked me.i sat kay kay on my bed and turned on cartoons for her. " momma im tryna go to the club---" i couldnt finish because my momma interrupted me. " boy how the fuck is going to the club more important the Kayden Kash Cozart. You do not always get what you want." she yelled at me through the phone. i flopped on my bed and let kay kay crawl over me. " momma im going so i can get cheryse back. i dont like the fact that she got some random dude all around my daughter and i never met him, and besides i dont know what he could be doing to my daughter." i said. " Keith if it was ment to be she woulda came back to you, but if you actually chasing after this girl i think she may be the one for one, but have you ever wondered how she felt when she gave kay kay to you?" she asked. i kicked my shoes off. " how i asked her earlier when she came to the studio but she just said she was gucci." i said. " Keith i mean when she sees you with different girls every single time, that girl has to be beyond heart broken." i guess my plans are about to change tonight. " momma i never knew she could feel that way." i confessed. " have you ever asked her?" momma asked me. i got of the bed and made kay kay her bottle and put my phone on the charger as I continued my conversation with my mom. " naw I guess I wanted her to hurt as much as she hurt me when we broken up." I said as kayden crawled up on my chest and fell asleep. " Look Keith I know was upset but Cheryse still has to suffer knowing that the father of her daughter doesn't really talk to her other then to get kayden. Keith lemme ask you this, do you love Cheryse L'Nae Carter?" she asked me. I rubbed my hand down my face. " yes I never stopped loving her, she the biggest thing in my life." I told her. " then baby boy if you love her, go get her back. I love you Keith and I gotta go. are you still going out tonight?" she asked me. " nah ima stay home and call CiCi, and I love you to mommy. thank you" I said. " thank me for what?" she asked me. " for talking me through a situation, if there's anything you need, you know you can always call on me right?" I said. " there is two things I want from you." she said. "anything mommy." I replied as I carried my sleeping beauty into her room. " One I want you to be a better father then your dead-beat ass daddy, and two I want you to get my daughter-in-law back." she said. I smiled to myself. "yes momma, I love you." I said. " I love you too baby boy." my momma said before we hung up. I layed in my bed thinking about everything my momma said to me. I swear that woman could talk me from killing myself. I knew what I had to do to get my baby back.
