Enter a room where chairs and tables are stacked and the final hours of the day's light dwindles and glows a bright golden through the windows. In this relatively empty room there is but a trio of desks and chairs left in its center and in those seats are 3 young adults. They sit together under the light of dusk as they talk and reminisce on the spectacular and unforgettable year they had enjoyed and at times endured together. Three inseparable friends forged through the strangest of incidences. Three shining and bright stars.

The first is a boy with sandy blonde hair and eyes like the blue of sullen clouds carrying rain. He had always been known for wearing ties to class no matter how formal it all was in comparison to the rest of the student body. The green field jacket on him is closed and his daily tie rests outside of it in an odd and unique fashion just like its wearer. Akio Deutelas. The once depressed, mysteriously famous student of Halyn High. With the warm smile on his face glowing just like the radiant sun, it's hard to imagine that once he was a sorrowful and darkened person. Hard to believe that the deep blue in his stormy eyes rained down like tears from the sky.

The second with her legs kicked up on the table and a toothpick hanging from her lips is a rather spunky and radiant girl with a passion clear to see burning inside her heart. The hair upon her head left partially messy falls to her waist. Its lunar silver catches the light of the sun and nearly sparkles in its rays. Her violet eyes join their glow in an almost ethereal shine that's a sight to behold. Clad in a color spattered tank top and black shorts, she's dressed for the coming sunshine of summer. Luna Seiat: the girl who had ignored the world and burned with a chaotic mixture of emotions like a hurricane roaring in her heart. She too beams, making her history seem as nothing more than an illusion.

And the final among the trio is a boy with fiery red eyes like the smoldering glow resting after a fire. The black hair on his head is much like the charred remains left by the flames: a deep obsidian. He wears a buttoned dress shirt and a light jacket in a sharp and fashionable style. As handsome and bright as a model you'd see in a magazine, he's a charming boy by sight of eyes, but the attitude beneath may leave one conflicted. Sarcastic and terse to begin with, once you brave the fires in front of his soul, you can find the gold left pure from the flames. His true, beautiful heart.

Together just as all the year before, they send off their final year at Halyn High.

"The sunset is as beautiful as always." Akio thinks aloud as he stares out to the marvelous sight.

"You've got that right. It's always a shame it's so short. It feels like there's never enough time to truly capture it all." Luna joins him in beholding it.

"Just as sentimental and caught on the sky as usual, huh?" Grey says with a small chuckle. "It's odd to notice that we've been under so many sunsets together. It was all so quick, yet it'd felt like forever in the moment with Mr. Grim around."

"Oh did it now, White Knight?"

The two names Grey and Akio made for each other. Grey the White Knight and Akio, AKA, Mr. Grim. Originally created out of contempt, these nicknames one day became the trophy of their friendship. A showing of all they'd been through together and where they came from. Endearing despite the constant sarcasm linked to them.

"Yeah. Always with your spazzing and dilemmas. There wasn't a dull moment hanging out. Just like that time you'd ruined that prized ship. Boy, was that a crazy event!"

"Ah. That fiasco. Can't say it didn't cost me."

"Becoming a slave for weeks at the every beck and call of one furious girl." Luna snickers while looking back on it all. "Still gotta say that you got off pretty easy in the end. If it had been me, I would have thrown you off a skyscraper!"

"Hahaha... An angry Luna is definitely something to be feared." Grey scratches his cheek, nervous.

"You've always been a dull one, but I'm glad you've caught on there."

"Hey!"

As the two begin a fake quarrel, Akio's mind begins floating past that sun and into the skies all around. The golden colors and the silver lined clouds beckon an ending to not only this day, but this time in their lives. Reflecting upon all the memories made and the tears shed, he is muted into a bittersweet thought.

"I wonder what's going to happen after today." Akio wonders. "Graduation is tomorrow and then the rest of our lives. I don't think you can even call it summer vacation since we won't be coming back."

"There Grim goes sobering us up as usual." Grey smirks to himself but is quickly caught back into the true atmosphere of this meeting.

"To be honest, I've tried my best not to think of it, but here it comes. It's hard to dull your senses to it when it's right in front of your face." Luna stares up to the ceiling.

"I've been thinking about it nonstop. It first came into my mind when I'd heard of graduation and it's been stuck there in the back ever since. I kind of wish that this year wouldn't end. That we could just be here forever, but change always comes whether you want it to or not."

"So, Grim. Did you ever find out what you're going to do after we get those glorified pieces of paper? My answer is obvious, I'm sure."

"Continue searching for your harem?" Luna quips, leaving Grey to respond with two sharp eyes jokingly glaring.

Akio's mind returns to all that he'd experienced in this eventful year of his life and it flashes by in a second yet its impact is heavy. Inside he feels like a bird flying high in the sky, looking down to an ocean. So deep and vast, he can't even dare to take it all in at once. But soon he comes to notice that the skies above too are there to watch. "I-I think I have..." He gains an assured and confident smile as he looks to his company and prepares to answer.

The sun continues to fall and soon that glow of dusk is gone and all that is left is the elegant and calm hues of blue as the moon begins to shine brighter with every passing minute. The day is over and soon the trio bids that classroom filled with memories their final farewells. Akio remains in the doorway for a moment, remorseful and reluctant to say goodbye. But at the sound of Luna's voice calling, he shuts the door and joins his dear friends.

Together.
