『Chapter ⅰ』〔Introduction〕

Letting a loud sigh, I put the last few pieces of clothing that were missing in my luggage. It was quite nerve wracking when thinking of it. Seriously, I just thought only about focusing in my studies now that I had moved to Korea. Seems that is not going on that way.

Since I was a 10 year old girl, my parents had  died; well, they were actually assaulted while being on the street. From that point, my grandparents took me in and I started living with them in the outskirts of Canada. 

We never had that much money to afford that much stuff. We only had enough for ourselves. However, with a huge effort from both of them, they got to buy a plane ticket for me as a graduation gift.

Some time has passed since I moved out of Canada, 7 months to be exact. Iniatially, I came to Korea for only education purposes. Now being an 18 year old, stuff has changed in several ways.

As a little girl, my parents loved the idea of their child to have the knowledge of music and speaking diverse language. So, as an outcome, both of them enrolles me in music and language classes. 

That's how I came to learn how to play the piano and cello; as well as singing. With language, I learned to speak Spanish, French, and Italian. I already knew Korean from my father and Japanese from my mother, them being from those countries. All these languages apart from English, of course.

A couple of weeks ago, my grandparents came to visit me for a week. They told me that they signed me up for a contest of some sort. They has sent videos of me singing (recent videos) to the judges. Since I was studying, I couldn't go personally but; nonetheless, the judges accepted the vídeos as my participation form.

I searched that up and found out the previous contest information. Surprinsingly, the judges were: Youngjae and BamBam (GOT7), Hong Bin and N (VIXX), also Jeonghan (Seventeen). I wanted to know who the winner was. On the website, there was a text explaining the prize. This one was living with GOT7 for 3 months.

Scrolling further down, I saw that the time limit was already expired (obviously). Also, the winner was already posted. At first, I didn't pay much attention to the name displayed on the webpage.

Then realization hit me.

It was my own name.

I sat on my bed closing my bag, finally. I was expecting so much and many doubts popped continously in my head. Looking at the calendar on the wall, today, September 4. Anything can happen from now and the following 3 moths. 

Lifting my things form my bed, I started walking out of my room. I sighed closing the door and proceeding to get out of my department. "I'll be back soon, this is going to be an adventure for sure", I thought as I closed the main door. 

Few minuted later, I heard something . On the road was a black van apparently waiting for me. 

Must be them.
