*Chpt 4: TOADKILLER*

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today was the day Elizabeth and Cheryl would go Demon Hunting, as promised.  Faith had gotten used to the house and he now knew every nook and cranny, even better than Elizabeth, and that was saying something by itself. "Elizabeth dear, are you ready?"  Cheryl said, looking up from her book. "Yes, one second!" Elizabeth raced to her room, leaving Cheryl chuckling in the Library, back to her book that she had been reading. Elizabeth loved demon hunting as much as she liked potions. Elizabeth hated everything about demons and her hatred was ever so strong because they were originally humans. For a human to become a demon they would need to be a ruthless killer or full of hatred that love could not take over, and that was a terrible thing if the most wonderful and dangerous feeling could not take place.  It did not help either that she hated humans, because of a group of bullies, Katelyn Summers, Trent O'Kane, Oliver Jack, Ella Lance, Angelina Conner, Isac Kent, Daisy O'Kane, Lee Do, Lacey Conner and Reese Calo, (TOADKILLER). They had inflicted the wound Elizabeth had a week and few days ago. It also didn't help that she was Demon Hunting for the first time in her life alone. Although she didn't hurt them, which she could do painfully, she didn't. She knew not all humans were bad but she hated them anyway, because they were killers. Murderers. They killed the people of the Shadow Realm. But how could they know that they (the Demon Hunters/Shadow citizens) protected them from demons who wanted to kill more? Risking their lives? No, they didn't know. When Elizabeth was Demon Hunting alone last time she met TOADKILLER, while crossing the small lake, who decided to have some painful fun. Why her wound had gotten worse (it was pretty bad, Trent packed a pretty bad punch, or punches to be exact) was a mystery. When she asked why, Cheryl turned away and brang up a new converstation, steering clear of that topic. Elizabeth knew that her grandma hated lying to her, and turning her back on her was a pretty obvious and a  bad habit. But Elizabeth could never of been fooled with, sly and quick with wit, nothing could slip past her easily. Escpecially her grandma.
Her room was plain, how she liked it. Her walls were light purple and her bed black. She had a white little wooden bedside table with an old lamp. Her usual clothes were your ordinary clothing, nothing flashy or skimpy. "Done yet?" Cheryl was always patient but on the days when they were Demon Hunting, she didn't like waiting. "If we wait to long here, every two minutes a human dies." This was one of the many rules of Demon Hunting.  Stick with your
partner, work together,  kill the devils as quick and carefully as possible. Those are the main ones and there is too many to say them all. Cheryl is old but she has the agility and speed of a young hunter. With much more experience.  The hunting outfits are jet-black with protective padding and heavy armour, with a spell to make it feel weightless. Many spells and a few potions had been cast onto the uniform. For example: the poison reflector potion, and a spell that boosts it's wearers' agility and speed, even a little strength, but that was partly another spell.
Grabbing her weapons,  she rushed downstairs, slightly breathless, but most importantly, ready to go and kill.
Cheryl smiled. "Ready to go?" Elizabeth nodded, "Currently bursting with excitement." They headed out the door together,  side-by-side, Elizabeth only a few centimeters taller than the old woman. As they had one foot outside of the wards surrounding their house they both looked at each other, nodded,  and their faces became deadly serious.
