I started running , running from my fear I should've just owned up but I was scared , terrified of what they would've done to me. I looked at my reflection in the lake it was sundown ,the sun which had nearly vanished from the ombré sky, made the lake shine with diamonds in it. Scared they were chasing after me I started to run away again. I guess you want to know what happened to me well I'll tell you. It was a normal day I got up at dawn, the sun blazing through my curtains shining on my face. I was bored from everyday life I wanted it to change more than anything I could ever wish for, when mum was alive she said if you wish on a star it will come true. Jack my little brother ,who's seven, was still asleep I know I've got to get him up or my "dad" will hurt me. I got him ready for school dropped him off and went back home. Next I had to cook breakfast for my dad I was chopping up cherry tomatoes and I though "I'm sick of this my life my education my family." I phoned Nan and said "pick Jack up from school keep him safe," then I hanged up the phone I grabbed a knife, I snuck upstairs to dads room creeped in though the creaking door and and ...... I stabbed him over and over .......
At nightfall I slept in an uncomfortable bush, there was a hole in the top so I could see the stars, I thought of mum and knew she was watching over me . The next morning I woke early all I heard was the birds singing there songs and the swaying leaves. I couldn't consider going back I would be arrested, maybe I should start a new life but where and how. My new challenge was just beginning
