Outside on the crossbar
shuffling decks thru the night'I followed a friend here', I thought -- as right then two halves of the I whole laughed by the window.
'Let's go back in.' I said. And we did.
Laughter dressed the air about us the whole time, And beauty poured like wine in the cup. Here was discovery at its finest, most simple elevation.
Tomorrow would never achieve
such ease.
Tomorrow we'd base the mountain.
But those hours would wait as the
air sparkled with momentary joy
And we drank in the rare beauty
of the night.So many scenarios to jumpstart my way
and I was given two halves of the whole. And no wonder I'm called to write.
