~I wont make to many authors notes just cause I want you to focus on the story. And I think authors note are annoying. Pulse people probably won't read then anyway.~
New town. Fresh start. I thought everything was going to go smooth but then I saw someone who reminded me of someone else. And I never really talk about that friendship cause some things were better left unspoken.
We made eye contact but I looked away so that things didn't get weird. And also cause I found that this person very attractive. I kept trying to get another look at this them, but it was a little hard considering the fact that people were crowding around. After a couple minutes of watching from a distance (or stalking) I decided to give up and find my mom.
I eventually found my mom in a room filled with people. I walked over her and sat down next to her. She asked me if I wanted something to eat. I looked around and saw everyone else eating. I decided not to eat cause my anxiety was getting the best of me.
"No I'm not hungery" I whispered to my mother.
"Are you sure? You haven't ate anything all day."
"I'm fine, I promise"
My mom just shook her head. I watched my mom for awhile and realized her eyes where in search of something. I wondered what she was looking for, but I didn't ask. I began to daze of and day dream, but was interrupted my a tap on my shoulder. My reflexes reached instantly and I grabbed the persons finger. I looked at the finger and it took a little while to realize that there was a human being attached to this finger. I looked up at the rest of what was attracted. I tried not to stair but it was the person I was trying to get a look at earlier. And this person was way better looking closer. And well I got a pretty good look at her since their face was four to five inches away from mine.
"Sorry....reflexes" I said as I broke the eye contact we had made seconds before I let go.
I looked down at my hands. I heard a little giggle come from besides me. I wanted to see more of this person but not to the point where they were four inches from my face. I looked back because it would have been rude to completely ignore this person. I smiled and realized they had been talking to me for awhile.
"Sorry it's a little loud in here. Can you say that again?" I asked shyly.
"My friends and I were gonna go to the park. I know it getting dark but I thought you might want to come."
I looked over at my mom who was east dropping. She smiled.
"Go have fun. But don't do anything stupid. And be carful with your little problem." She said with a smile.
I hated that my mom pointed out that I had a little problem. I let out a sigh and hugged my mom good bye.
"Don't be home to late and drive home safely." my mom said while hugging me back.
"Yah okay." I answered
I looked over to find that this mysterious person was still by my side. Once again we made eye contact but I broke it. I sucked at not making things awkward. I heard a little giggle again.
After a few more terribly awkward seconds went by I stood up and just followed. Although I love adventures I was a little nervous. One reason was because I had no idea where I was going. And also because I was following a strangely attractive stranger with beautiful greenish blue eyes.
My mind was going crazy just trying to think about what to say. Before I knew it we were already outside. I looked up and realized that there was a group of people standing around waiting for us. I looked around and waved to everyone. I introduced my self to everyone,"Um...hi..my names Alex. I just moved here..."
Everyone said hi and introduced themselves. There was two girls, Jane, and Britney. There was also two boys, chase and clay. Everyone seemed pretty chill and laid back.
"So who's ready to go to the park?!?!" Clay said excitedly while he ran over to the girl next to me who still didn't know her name. Clay picked her up and kissed her. She didn't seem to like it to much but she went along with it. I felt something in my chest when I saw them cuddle like that.
"So who's riding with who?" Asked Mel
"I'll ride with the new stranger" said the girl next to me.
Everyone else rode with clay although he didn't really like the idea of his girlfriend riding with me.
