Your P.O.V
: "Come on Shika. It's not that much of a drag. Just one simple little mission. Will be done before you know it."
Shikamaru sighed: "Right..."
A little while later we reached the area where the report said the rouge shinobi had been spotted. We both started looking around, trying to find any evidance of them or anyone else having been throught the area recently.
moving some brush: "It doesn't look like anyone's been through here."
Shikamaru: "They've been careful to hide their tracks, but I found some footprints over here. Someone was dragged into these bushes."
I walked over, standing next to him to see what he was pointing at. Sure enough, shallow foot prints were barely there. Beside them 2 lines in the ground like someone had been dragged off.
: "I wonder what happened?"
*snap*
My head jerked up as Shikamaru spun around letting his shadow extend towards the sound, but it was a distraction. A man appeared in front of me, wove a few handsigns before my vision turned dark.
Shikamaru's P.O.V
I spun around after hearing a twig snap, but nothing was there. I glanced behind me to see Kalea slump to the ground.
???: "One down."
I turned back around bringing out the kuni Asuma had givin me. This was going to be a close range fight. The man charged, i jumped back weaving the handsigns for my shadows.
: "Shadow Stiching!"
My shadow streched out in front of me, separating into many thin lines. The lines lifted off the ground and went into attack the man from different directions. The man's eyes widened as they approuched. He tried to defend himself, but failed miserably as the dark lines pierced through his body, killing him almost instantanously.
After the man collasped on the ground, i ran over to Kalea. Her eyes were slightly open, but seemed glazed over. I shook her a few times and called out her name, but she didn't respond to anything i did. Now i'm more than worried, Kalea doesn't play tricks like this.
I got my arms around her shoulders and under her legs, lifting her up as i sped off back to the village: "What did he do to you?"
