"Shit" I muttered under my breath as I glanced at the time. I ran to the window seeing my bestfriends Beth, Avery and Peyton pulling into my drive way. I walked over to my suitcase and quickly zipped it up yanking it off the bed as hard as I could making it hit the floor with a bang. When I got down the stairs I saw my mom and dad waiting for me. I let go of my suitcase, giving them both a hug. "I'll see you soon" I said smiling.
"Make sure you call everyday and text me when you get settled" My mom said looking at me with big sad eyes, that made it even harder for me to go.
"I will and I love you guys" I said laughing while opening the front door.
"We love you too Tori" My mom and dad said while waving me goodbye.
I ran to the car, seeing Avery in the front seat and seeing Peyton beside her. I opened the truck, seeing a mountain of suitcases on top of eachother. I threw mine on top and slammed the truck getting in the back seat.
"So are you guys excited or what!" I yelled as Avery pulled out of the driveway and drove down the street. We all lived in Toronto so we had about a 9 hour car drive to Salem, Massachuetts. We were all going to Salem State University.
"Hell yeah, bitches!" Avery said laughing "Were going to party and drink our asses off!" She said yelling, we all burst into laughter, thinking about how Avery would be like drunk.
"So, I am sooo excited to all be sharing a dorm room!" I said pulling out her headphones.
"I know, its so weird that we are going to be in a Co-ed Residance" Peyton said glancing back at us.
"I know we go from a all girls school to sleeping in a co-ed residents" I said pausing "It's going to be quite a change".
"Dicks Glaore!!" Avery yelled, making us all laugh.
"Sure Avery Sure" Peyton said sarcastically, as she put her feet on the dashboard.
5 hours later
Peyton, Avery and I had all deicided to take turns driving to New York. Peyton and I all fell asleep but woke up when we felt the car jerk forward and come to a stop, I sat up looking out the window it was pitch black and nothing but corn fields was around. "What's going on?" I said to Avery rubbing her eyes.
"Uhh I don't know" Avery replied looking confused.
"How long has that light been flashing" Peyton said pointing to the dashboard.
"Uhh a few hours, I thought it was sassy cause it kept flashing at me" She said.
"AVERY" I yelled.
"WHAT!!" She yelled back.
"That light means that the tire pressure is low" I said getting out of the car.
"Do you have a spare" Peyton asked Avery, because it was her car that her dad let her borrow to get all our stuff to the school.
"I think" She said, as we all got out of the car after her. I opened the truck and we all saw that there was no spare tire... great.
"God! How are we going to get there now!" Peyton said leaning aginest the truck.
"We can call I tow service?" I said, trying to solve the problem, but knowing it wasn't going to work.
"Nobodys awake at this time" Peyton said sitting back in the car.
1 Hour Later, we were hitch hiking, trying to get any car to stop for us. We saw another pair of headlights turn the corner and we went to the side of the road, sticking out our thumbs. The headlights blinded us as we saw them pull over we all huddled together, realizing that this was probably really stupid, because we were possibly about to be druged, raped, and killed.
One muscular body got out of the truck and walked towards us, when he got closer we realized that he was about our age and quite cute. "Hi, uh, do you need a ride?" The guy asked sincerly.
"Um yeah, were are you headed" I asked
"To Salem State University, do you want to come with us" He said glancing back at his truck
"Yeah, were on our way there too" Avery said walking towards the truck, not waiting for there apprroval to let us come with them.
He chuckled and walked towards the truck, waving us to follow. When we got to the car, the windows rolled down and our jaws dropped. "I'm Caleb, this is Matt and this is Cameron" he said pointing to the boys.
Our jaws had dropped for 2 reasons:
1. They were all incredibly hot
2. Cameron, was Avery's ex-boyfriend
We got in the car ackwardly and buckled our seat belts looking at eachother. This senario could not be any more awkward.
