So, we meet again

Black. That's all I could see. I saw nothing for what seemed like forever, then I felt the hard cold endstone floor beneath my feet. I opened my eyes and saw Regina with a warm smile that hid the fear she felt. With her were two children. One asleep in her arms, her wings tucked away neatly behind her back. Her chest slowly rising and falling as she slept. Her light brown hair hiding her face.

The other was hiding behind her mother her black hair was down to her shoulders. Her brown eyes looked at me curiously. Regina spoke to her in Endertongue. The little girl looked up to her mother and nodded. Regina looked back at me. "Welcome to the End Herobrine. These are my two daughters, this is Regium." She said looking at the older girl, she smiled brightly and unfolded her wings. I smiled back and looked back to Regina. "And this little one is Lilium." The smaller one shifted slightly in Regina's arms, and woke up. She looked at me, I could tell she wasn't sure about me, but she stood tall next to her older sister when she was put down.

"Nice to meet you two. Now, Regina, my army is on the otherside." As I spoak, Kiley jumped to my side. She bowed her head to the queen and the princesses.

"Very well, the guards will send them to they're quarters...." She grabbed Regium's hand and motioned for me to follow.

I told Kiley to wait for the others. And followed the family. Lilium walked next to me stretching her wings periodically. "We're not gonna make it are we?" She asked.

I looked down at her in shock. "Of corse we will. I'll make sure of it."

She looked up at me like I was crazy. "What are you gonna be able to do? If mom couldn't save all those who we lost, how can you?"

"I'll find a way. I promise." She looked away and continued walking.

she watched her sister and mother walk hand in hand. "If you could save one person, can you save her, please. I don't mind death, but could you please make sure that Regium is safe?"

I looked down at her again and back to the others. I nodded, "yes, I'll make sure she's safe. And you will be safe as well."

She smiled slightly and unfolded her wings fully. Her black obsidian like wings reached almost to the floor. The inside of them a dark purple. She took a step back and jumped. Flapping her wings, she took flight. Her sister saw her and followed. Regina smiled and chased after them. As did I. "You can fly? Without wings!" Lilium exclaimed.

I nodded and smiled. "That I can."

I followed Lilium and the others to the army. When we landed Regium ran to one of the guards who waited for Lilium. She protested to her mother in Endertongue, and Regina snapped sharply. Lilium shot something back and stomped over to the guard who took them away. "Sorry about her. She's been a bit stubborn lately. Always seems like she wants to fight. She's only 100 and she thinks she can do anything."

I smiled. "Well, they usually do." I watched them walk away. "I think she just wants to make sure her sister is safe."

Regina nodded. "Yes well, come on, we can discuss this war in the throne room." She walked to another building and I followed.

I walked into her throne room and inspected the endstone walls and floor, the throne was made of obsidian and had a very unwelcome gest. "Ah, Brine, so nice to see you. It's been a few years hasn't it?"

"Entity!" I hissed I sommoned a sword and Regina did the same.

"What are you doing in my kingdom?"

Entity looked hurt. "Oh, the king of the Nether, the man who killed all those he swore to protect, watched as everyone fell at his feet, he's allowed to be here, but the protector of balance can't be? Now, Regina, how does that make sense?" Entity said smerking.
